  1. Same thing with my buddy, he wanted matt and he received gloss. Rather invest in the full kit from invisiframe https://www.invisiframe.co.uk/frames/evil
  2. My buddy purchased armour ride and has been asking me to assist him in fitting it to his frame. First impressions, this does not compare to invisiframe, it is thinner (feels similar to the clear china town automotive wrap)and no instructions in the packaging a R1000 product that unacceptable. Secondly not all the pieces were sufficiently cut out, some sheets had the excess surrounds removed, where as the one with the surrounds was a nightmare, the stuff stuck to itself, and left marks. It is fitted and while he is kinda reasonably happy, it looks like crap and we have a general feeling that it will be peeling on the edges. Co incidentally a few bike shops did not want to fit armour ride. I have used and fitted invisiframe, Bikeshield, All Mountain guard and another south african product (which has peel/ lifted on the edges rather badly) If you have the time and patience, order invisiframe. It is a way more firmer product, it also does not stick to itself and the sheets are labelled and comes with a squeegee Others dont despite indicating that they do. We had to decipher the sticker sheet vs the small pictures on the box of armour ride. Invisiframe is extremely easy to fit. All mountain guard has some nice thick honey comp protection stickers, in many colours and patterns. Also easy to fit and never had an issue of it sticking to itself. I would say there downtube protector is the one to get as it should save your frame from rock strikes and then rest of the bike with bikeshield. My new favourite, Bike shield, nice thick skin, fitting is super easy and if it shifts on an edge push it back and it sorts it self out.
  3. Yeah, its for right handed people LOL How you like the horn?
  4. 😍That Moto Guzzi sure is a stunner
  5. I have a shorts somewhere. Bought it online, in the size I wear. Turns out the size is actually 2 sizes smaller. Can say I wont consider the brand again. Other brands clothing fit perfectly without me having to try on.
  6. I have removed the foamo from my dual sus. Also I had no choice as they were too narrow for my tyres and were just spinning inside. Anyway 2 years later, strong tyre sidewalls and all is good. I do have one on my rear wheel on the hardtail. Saved me one morning on a commute and I able to pedal to a petrol station, but slowly. I doubt I would invest in anything similar again as running the correct pressure for the terrain is sufficient. Too soft and your rims are toast.
  7. I used mine the weekend on my car!
  8. stop at one of the fisheries in the harbour and have a nice meal, then up suikerbossie with a drink in hand
  9. Ok, I checked now, rapide had of those. Dont see it on their site anymore. Maybe give Droo a shout at stoke
  10. Same as your bicycle helmet, replace after crash. Also it should have safety ratings labelled on or inside the helmet. If there is nothing, then stay away.
  11. The worlds new Jerry Can!!
  12. Indeed. The helmet can actually have hairline crack(s) in it. My clear carbon helmet fell of my seat, I was fortunate as it just had a bruise in the clear coat. Painted helmets conceal all the damage.
  13. Just a thought, but wont BB spacers work?
  14. "eBikes Sorry to break it to you if you're an eMTB detractor, but battery-powered bikes are driving the industry forward at the moment. While giant multi-nationals probably aren't paying attention to who is winning the EWS-E, they definitely are looking at the changing ways people are getting around cities. E-bikes, electric scooters and electric cars are the transport of the future and rather than start from ground zero, investors want to own companies that already have a foot in the door. Porsche buying a majority stake in Greyp and investing in Fazua is a perfect example of this." https://www.pinkbike.com/news/why-are-so-many-bike-companies-being-bought.html
  15. And then load shedding kicks in, or eskom is down for 2 weeks!!

  17. I keep getting, you need an ebike........ this when I mtb. When I mtb I am chilled, its my time out, I am solely there to enjoy the descents. I walk the steeper parts of the climbs and cant be bothered. When I ride my roadbike its a different ball game all together. I have some pretty good segment times, mixing in the top 5 and top 10 on strava. Anyway, I finally got one of my riding buddies to get a road bike. One ride in and he cant keep up, complaining the entire ride and this was just a 20km ride with boyes drive as one of the climbs. When we mtb he has the biggest mouth as to why I should buy an ebike. Other ebikers also like to push the reasoning, but ask them if they can still ride their bike when the battery is flat, or it develops a problem silences them right up. Let the ebikers be its just another cycling segment, eventually they will adjust events suitably.
  18. This, goes for every small to medium business out there. We for example are fighting daily. Getting stock is a major issue, customers dont realise this. Shortage of supply, lack of manufacturing etc. Instead people spread rumours as apposed to support local business. Slightly off topic, but I agree about the generating of revenue. Things are far worse than what we realise.
  19. 2 coats of C Thru on the visor, rain wont stick to the visor. Just make sure, it can be used on the visor material as not all will be compatible. Motul Helmet and Visor cleaner and Muc off Visor cleaner works well for cleaning
  20. Yeah, I love them gsxr's I have certainly pushed the handling limits on mine back in the day. They also where not called slingshot for nothing. Also very reliable bikes
  21. Those bikes are rockets!
  22. Well done, looks almost like the inside of an odi lockjaw
