I doubt you will find Renthal bars at most LBS. They are gravity riding specific. just ask for a bar with a bit of a rise. You may even have to try online to get a bar as wide as you want.

That is a Renthal bar. What you need to look for is a bar with a bit of a rise in it. Say 25mm.

Have you ever tried Hope? Yes, they are more expensive but you only realise why once you have used them.

In your opinion? I have used both and Hope Tech X2 streets ahead in all categories.

Try bedding them in. Find a long hill and apply just the rear brake hard until you almost stop. Repeat 15 to 20 times. Tip. When you brake hard keep low and move weight well over the back wheel. Even lower your saddle.
