Yeah, I got the sticker. Once you put the sticker on the back of your car you instantly drive more careful especially when bikes and cyclists are near, well, that's how it is for me, I don't just plak any k@k on my car, in fact, it's the only sticker on my car..
Why don't we organize a Road Race to make ppl more aware of Cyclists on our roads....Oh my hat, that's just what they did 30years back then they came up with the little Race called the Argus and it's exactingly why I don't do the stupid race cuz the Organizers have long forgotten what the damn point of it all was. Rant off.
I think I did a 2h38 - last year was a f'up so rather not talk about it;-) Will try for close to 2h30 again this time around but will see, it's going to be hot. What road race are you talking about happening this weekend?
I don't think you can still enter, not sure, and even if you could it would cost a small fortune at this stage. Don't know if route change is the right phrasing, looks like they just revers the route.
The route has changed a bit Bos, you should do the new route at least once to see if it's a bit more prestigious this time around, but I agree, the route from last year was rather boring, they should make the Lourensford race the Argus Mtb race>:-)
Had it at 9.45kg but the KCNC Brakes gave me to much sh*t so put some XTR's on, brought the weight up to 9.7kg, it's always between 9.7-9.8kg depending on what tyres I put on. The Frame weight is 1380g
Mine are noisy when some sunlight liquid gets on the rim/pads from either washing the bike of when I do a Stans Conversion, but it goes ago after a few rides.
