  1. Finally a reason to buy one!
  2. What brand is the hub? Also Ellsworth?
  3. That is just poor form. Miserable muppets.
  4. Bars, stem, grips, pedals Personal preference. On the Jamis... It was everything
  5. Anodize. Especially the hubs.
  6. https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/135774-new-wold-cup-contender-has-minnaar-gee-and-hill-scared/
  7. Most likely about R800 for 3 rims. 1 in excellent condition, 1 brand new and 1 has had some panel beating done.
  8. Its a matter of personal preferences. Swoping the grips also The nice thick Raceface grips will be kept for that other place. ODI Troy Lee's in red are going on.
  9. The outtakes at the end :D
  10. Decided to edit my post instead of creating a new one. This little monster arrived at my office today. 2012 M9 FRO frame Marzocchi 888 Ti forks Full Saint drivetrain Avid Code brakes Cranky 50/50 pedals Truvativ Boobars MTX33 rims with Maxxis Minions Plan: Obviously nothing stays as is and the following is changing in the next 2 weeks. 11. Edit...
  12. Starting to sound cheaper to drive down. Flights for 2 people - R4500? Two bikes shipped - R2500? Total = R7000 6 tanks of petrol + tolls = R4800 (worst case scenario)
  13. Bike is looking tight Patches.
  14. I'm very specific with the design I want and will be doing it myself. Just need an idea of cost. If it's more than the original decals I might as well stick to the originals for now. I have a contact that can bring the set back for me end of Feb. But custom is always better.
  15. Hey guys Looking for a complete decal kit for the M9. I can order from Intense in the US at $30.00 +- for the original but they don't ship to SA. Any idea who brings Intense in to SA?
  16. Sadly the missed the URGE All-M in that roundup. Well ventilated, light and fits really well.
  17. Physical dude. We don't discuss my mental health at all!
  18. Not exactly the point now is it
  19. Thanks for all the replies. I've take a few gnarly spills in my life. Some on DH, XC, jumping, road etc. Have been very fortunate to never break more than ribs. Worst crash did result in a neck injury from landing on my head. No lasting problems luckily. Will do more research online but I wanted to get the general feeling from SA guys first.
  20. I think we lost this topic somewhere. There seems to be 2 groups focused around the use of neck braces. One group claims it can do severe damage like broken collarbones, sternum and even back and therefor refuse to use them. The other group claims it's worth the risk to save your neck in case of a crash. Who is right? Please keep it clean, factual and no comments about using this on the Spruit. We all know it's part of the kit.
  21. Make sure you are wearing full kit, water bottles, camelbak whatever. You need to be dressed as if you are riding.
  22. The loose strap caused this. Not the peak. Peaks are designed to pop off or bend. What brand of helmet was this? Speedy recovery little dude.
  23. Stop bothering people and stop worrying about it. People are just dicks. Greet, don't greet. Whatever. Enjoy your ride.
  24. Menabo Winny 3. Super happy with it. Good quality. Good price. Good features.
