So i just did my first road race (94.7) on a road bike really enjoyed it. Now i'm planning on doing the Argus and would love to get some good training in but I really don't like doing my training on the road as it is very dangerous here. What's your advice on training on a MTB for a road event? Thanks!!

Was a nice race. started in AA did the race alone and cramped my moer off on the N14 and did a 3:10. next year will be a sub 3

Was chatting to a mate that owns a bike shop yesterday at the 94.7 and he says that most of the stuff that goes on auction here on the hub is less than the cost that he pays. Yes its good for the consumer but where do you see the wholesaler go direct to the consumer and kill the guys that got them to where they are now? im all for good deals but closing stores down is'isn't cool if you ask me. They won't see another cent from me.

From what i hear the trek full sus bikes give lots of problems! Look flipping nice though.

I've been training with them, lots of grip but pretty slow and picks up every piece of sand you go over.
