  3. Came across this on the net. Anyone had experience with them.
  4. i am not sure about anyone else here, but when i pull my brakes really hard, i tend to skid no matter what the size of my disc. So most of the time I apply just the right amount of pressure to stop in time.
  5. HiJack on! I have just bought a simple cateye computer and the tire size chart does not have the 26 x 2.2 size. It has the 26 x 2.125 and then goes on to 26 x 2.35. So i did a little interpolation and calculated that the L(mm) should be 2074. Is anyone else out there running conti race king 2.2 that can tell me if that is correct. Hijack off...
  6. I must admit, i have seen scarier things befor
  7. All Black
  8. Maybe i was a bit harsh earlier. I got a XL and not a XXL shirt. It fits okay if you like your sleeves to go past your elbows
  9. They also do that for most of the major events such as the Dusi, comrades but i guess for the smaller races its a lot harder to organise.
  10. of course i do. I have not bought a t-shirt in about 8 years. A lot of the canoeing races give you long sleaves, which is great for a durban winter.
  11. This is not a full on rant but more of an enquiry as i am genuinly interested. I am pretty much expecting that when I arrive at a race this weekend, they will not have my t-shirt size as i am taking part in one of the last races of the day. If you are not an early bird and get there an hour befor the first batch, all the medium t-shirts are generally all taken up. This also happened at the two oceans a few years back when i registered late in the afternoon to avoid the rush and had a choice of XXL or XXL. Fortunately, they reprinted shirts and posted them to us a few months later. (good on them) So my real question is, is it a logisical issue to simply add a tick box on the online entry for what size shirt you are? Then when you arrive (no matter what time) they have your shirt size? Is it that they print the shirts so far in advance that they have to guess and hope for the best. I would rather have a shirt that fits than a medal at the end. I'm just saying If this has been discussed befor then please send the link, i did a search and did not get very far.
  12. hmmm, i guess i should have asked if anyone needed something in Durban. Missed out on free shipping by a few hundered bucks
  13. Well, its not going to stop me from reclaiming my bike if i eventually find it. They (the buyer) more than likely know its stolen if its from a private sale in the township.
