  1. Its not that complicated. Buying a copy or from China is not an issue or illegal in itself. If however the copy is branded as something its not then someone's copyright is being infringed - regardless of whether this is disclosed or not.
  2. He reckons he still has work to do and is not yet at 100%... currently at a training camp in the Alps...
  3. would have also gone up it last week - but not at the end of the stage so likely even slower...
  4. interesting... Hope for the sake of the race he is right. I think he can compete with Froome in the mountains and if his form improves maybe he'll be a bit stronger, but can he really still TT at the same level. Plus with a team TT, how much deficit is he going to have to make up on Froome?
  5. still very accessible even when busy. 3 minutes from woodmead M1 offramp, 5 minutes from Rivonia Rd N1 offramp, 7 minutes from Allendale offramp
  6. No doubt. my point was the ECG itself is by no means an unusual test to be conducted, ( I have one every couple of years). Yes Angiogram is more hectic and one would not do one straight off for a schest infection - but that is not what the OP stated... (he said that anomolies identified here resulted in a angio referral... ) Anyway subsequent info that cardiologist has not actually looked at ECG I would agree maybe the angiogram is jumping the gun. My cardilogist uses an ultrasound to view the heart and arteries and seems to me this is a better first step.
  7. I think its really there as a recce for the Tour. Same organisers so they will save the grandstand finish for the big one (on bastille day IIRC?)
  8. Sage Grumps. Care to pm me some lotto numbers?
  9. Sunninghill/Woodmead - easy access to the N1, N3, M1 - less congested than fourways etc, far enough North to be possible for the Pretoria guys, still just south of the boerewors curtain! nothing to do with being my neck of the woods
  10. Or, 2 live in Swissland, another 1 earns the mighty pound, 5 own their own businesses, 5 in snr management....
  11. Wayne has bought the TACX agency from them.
  12. ECG would be good practice to test for for anyone who is battling with their health for unknown reasons - or even just as part of a comprehensive medical. The OP then said the ECG flagged an issue that had him referred for an Angiogram...
  13. you won't be sitting on your wallet for hours on end for years to come... short term pain - long term gain. dual sus FTW
  14. they don't struggle to find it - they just don't want to go there.
  15. If they drink Dom then we are paying too much for our goodies.
  16. Ja Dennis was great - could see the pain on his face but he just wouldn't let Froome's wheel go until there was nothing left. And Porte is one of the good guys.
  17. @richie_porte: Respect to garmin today.. Young team who honored the yellow jersey and gave it a good crack. Great fight by @RohanDennis #respect #Dauphine
  18. Accordng to Vaughters he wasn't stuck in the big ring - but when he's struggling he likes to grind a big gear!? Edit - or to be more accurate this is what he actually said...: @Vaughters: @Tideplay1 says its what he does when he f-Ed. (on beng asked if he was stuck or what the story was)
  19. Yea - thing is you can't blame the riders - or even sky! The have a formula that works. The solution is to take away the biggest tool that they have (and I don't mean Pat mcQuaid) - the power meter... Its like in F1 - traction control was banned so the drivers have to use their own skill to modulate the throttle. More human - more skill / judgement needed.
  20. And as good as their online service is - sometimes you want to touch, feel covet...
  21. Not any time soon - but it could happen - if racing is deemed to be predictible it may come to improve the show. $ talk at the end of the day. 5+ years out I reckon.
  22. Are you celebrating something good for you or good for us?
  23. Thats actually a very good call - I can see that in the future (power metres banned). I would support that - power metres can be used for training but on race day leave it to the riders own ability to race on how he feels and on instinct. Will make things a lot less predictable.
  24. Ja its been pretty much the same in all their head-to-heads this year. I think Berto needs to attack later if he want to beat Froome most days. His initial acceleration is always good, but Froome can invariably wind him back in, stick with him until the last few hundred metres and power away. The problem this leave Berto is at best he will then only ever gain a handful of seconds on Froome - so unless he can dramatically turn around his TT perfomrance in the Tour, its hard to see how he can beat Froomdog...
  25. Just read this now. Amazing that Froome only recently visited a wind tunnel for the first time ever. Shows to what extent the team were not thinking about him as a GC contender leading up to his 2 second place GT finishes... I did notice that he seemd to have his head considerably lower than in the past - and I think he had a slower cadance. Definately the former and maybe the latter are a result of his wind tunnel work... I also thought he looked a little uncomfortable though! Considering its early days for his wind tunnel work etc I expect his TT to improve towards the wiggins level over the next year or 2.
