Keep posting sad sack! Everytime you do we get another wicket. I guess you figure we lucked into the number one ranking... harping on about fanie and the boys when we now have steyn and the boys... Batting was below par but its early in the game - this is not 20/20....

wow people have short memories... 225 is not what we would have wanted, but wait 'till Aus have batted before deciding how bad this innnings was.
  4. Am I just being slowed up or do you need to start from scratch with the new instllation? Doesn't seem to upgrade but rather adds a second program so you need to re-do settings, re-import data etc? Quick question to the CycleOps guys (or anyone else who knows), is the Powercal waterpoof? It doesn't look particularly so and I was planning to use in the 70.3. Will it be OK...?
  5. So after getting the run around a bit my mate finally came right and has been given a time This lady helped when others didn't - so you may want to give her a try... Sandra Jacobs RaceTec Race Office: +27 86 1846464

Ja keeping is not easy - you can look silly even if you're one of the best, and you WILL look like a complete muppet if you don't know what you doing (speaking from personal experience here )... Still reckon people tended to underestimate how good Bouch was.

    Watch the ball son!
  8. was just about to ask if there was anything like this... Keen to join prob won't make today though. Are there any swims on the weekends as well? What the water temp like?
  9. I have a friend in the same situation. We managed to find a picture with him and another rider with a number visable just before the end of the race but no official word on whether they will give him a time yet. As Minion said your best bet is to go through action photo - you can search for pictures at the finish line by approximate time.

It tells us that if you are a regular cyclist of an sort and you enter an event with 20 or 30 thousand people, at least 10 or 15 thousand of those participating are not regular cyclists and therefore you will be faster than them.
  11. Actually in reality Alonso needs a Vettel DNF. No way Vettel will finish 5th or worse in that car.
  12. Rain would definately be good for Alonso. if nothing else it makes things unpredictible - and that is what he needs. A straight forward dry race means Vettel will again start probably 4 or 5 places ahead of Alonso on the grid - and from there he can manage an easy podium with Fonsie behind and thereby secure yet another Newey empowered world championship....
  13. Groovy. That explains why you stated that "Murder in its core from a legal perspective means it was pre-meditated"... edit - alright just tried to read your last post........
  14. Neutral - your statement of fact is incorrect. Murder does not have to be premeditated to be murder. Premeditation or not merely impacts on the degree of murder and therefore sentencing.

    A Sub 3 Argus?

Funny enough my garmin (with elevation correction enabled) says 1545m for 2012 Argus and 1546m for 2012 94.7.... I think both a little high, but the comparison might be right. Argus has a few bigger climbs but lots of flat sections too. 94.7 has bugger-all flat sections.

Nope - 27,000 entered the road race alone. When you add in the MTB, the 40km and kiddies the figure is 40,000. I think the lower entries are because of a combination of non-starters (I know of 2 personally), non-finishers (besides those who have trouble on the day - many people just bail close to home for convenience or whatever - for eg I have a work mate who couIdn't resist turning into Kyalami Estate on the home stretch... ), and then there are plenty people riding for fun with no chips... I see Argus are requiring people to bring their chips to registration form this year... (maybe racetech are giving them a comm per chip sold... )
  18. Nice one - must say I had a "little" impulse purchase myself from Soloman's at the expo.. This has made me let go of my buyer's remourse! (the 20% off sticker price also helped...)
  19. Apparently just having it horizontal will stop it being picked up (so I'm told)... i think tinfoil, horizontal in your back pocket should be safe ...

  21. ja I think people mix up Argus and 94.7 - the latter are not so uptight about it...
  22. Just feel like I need an 8 day week to keep up with my current program (+ life) - never quite get in everything I plan and usually sacrifice the LSD's...
