  1. For all the whinging above, I have already received about half my membership fees in cash back... And enjoying the weekend club 100 training rides when I can as well. The roll out / communication was disjointed - but the value proposition is there and is solid. I'm glad they rushed it to market as I have benefited directly while they get their s... together... I was not expecting to get cash back for the Argus since I joined team vitality months after I entered, but the cash is sitting in my bank account nonetheless...

Although... the McHonda's do seem to be improving quickly. Hoping the Ferrari's will put on a good race today...

    Formula 1...

Agree, was never a schumi fan, but still got a little something in my eye, was all so familiar yet so long gone. Really glad to see Ferrari compete with real pace, esp since unlike last year I don't think Rosberg is going to pose a challenge to Hami too often. kimi should have been in the mix too but for his quali slip. Once again predictions of F1's demise unless radical changes, equalisation etc etc are urgently undertaken prove a little premature. There have always been boring races and dominant teams at times. Christian Horner must have been feeling like a real numpty come Sunday night...
  6. Awesome Pity. Works out great for me as most of their rides start within a 10minute ride from my home
  7. Looks like Team vitality piggybacking on the club100 club rides. That is actually very cool - race discounts aside it now becomes a good value proposition, so I am in.

van der Garde becomes nuisancePosted in News by Sniff Petrol on Thursday, March 12th, 2015 http://livesniffpetrol.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/GiedovanderGAus.jpg“You see the ceiling? I was promised that.” A motorist in Australia got a shock today as they returned to their car to find the driver’s seat already occupied by Dutch racing driver Giedo van der Garde. ‘He said I’d promised him a go in my car and wouldn’t get out,’ explained Steve-o Wilson-o, 36, of Melbourne. ‘So I had to let him, then as soon as we set off he swerved into the next lane and hit another car. He said it was because he’d been promised a place on that bit of road, then he asked where my house was and what my wife was like.’ Sources in Australia say van der Garde has been making a nuisance of himself in this way since arrived in the country two days ago, sitting on the lap of another man on the plane after claiming he’d been promised seat 14B. ‘This is a really awkward situation,’ said Sauber driver Marcus Ericsson speaking exclusively to Sniff Petrol on the phone. ‘Hold on, I’m out for dinner. The waiter is just showing us to our tabl… oh for God’s sake.’

Its called open-wheel racing for a reason. F1 wouldn't be F1 with that design. Call it something else then.
  12. Yep, that link now reads: We are currently experiencing technical difficulties, please come back later and try again.
  13. So, supposed to be able to join from yesterday... Am I just not looking properly or has Discovery failed to have this ready? All I can find is this (which still talks about being able to join from Feb and to send an email so long)... https://www.discovery.co.za/portal/individual/vit-partner-team-vitality

Yup, turns out to be an inspired decision, and Hami has the last and loudest laugh Besides choosing so well in terms of the equipment he ended up with vs what Macca have produced, he needed to get out the Macca environment to become his own driver, rather than a McLaren product.

Ja I agree on the points - mean nothing ito records anymore. And that season Rosberg snr won was an interesting one in that, IIRC, he only one a single race. And there were 11 different winners! A very different time...

    Cricket......

Sorry but I disagree. For something to be gambling, you have to be risking something... i.e. putting down money or something else to lose.... Edit, ok here is a wiki definition (wiki never lies, right...? Gambling is the wagering of money or something of material value (referred to as "the stakes") on an event with an uncertain outcome with the primary intent of winning additional money and/or material goods. Gambling thus requires three elements be present: consideration, chance and prize

    Cricket......

its not gambling by any definition, and there is no legal impediment to minors being allowed to win prizes (many competitions are aimed at under 18's) provided it is not gambling, and prize doesn't require an age limit (eg anything to do with booze, unaccompanied travel etc).
