  1. Simple. He took out 1.5 litres of his blodd between 8 and 12 hours before the TT and put new fresh blood in. 100% sure his team management knew about it. No Mistake. he doped, Got caught and is now on his way home. No Simpler than that.
  2. Windbreaker... To tell you the truth I did offer to help. Perhaps you need to contact your President, Vice President and COO and find out why they dont want to do anything about it. They keep cancelling not me. Perhaps they already have the info I can give them but chose not to use it. Politics !!!!!! Secondly, what are they going to do with the info. Go on a witch hunt, Chase sponsors away, have cancelled events. There is a way bigger problem than you think my man. Fixing the problem is going to be a monumental task, not an overnight escapade and to be honest I dont think they have the understanding of top level athletes and why they do it. Now, before you take another dig at me, go and do your homework. It would be great if everyone who is involved got the same outcome as me wouldnt it.
  3. Ill shut up
  4. Windbreaker, I dont want to get into a debate about what RH does. If he hasnt been caught he obviously doesnt take anything. End of Discussion.
  5. Every Rider at the Tour Takes something ( In my opinion)... 99% get away with it. Probably gonna get slaughtered for this comment but its my opinion only. Let me ask you a simple question. Do you think its possible to run the Comrades everyday for a week. Well try that for 3 weeks. There are still so many drugs that work so well that they cant test for. And as soon as they can test for them the riders are on to the next thing. Nobody will stop it unfortunatley. Chunky2007-07-24 12:05:29
  6. Do you think there are ANY clean riders at the tour...NOT Things will never change unfortunately, the riders know that the reward is bigger than the risk. Only a few get caught but most get away. Rasmussen also got something coming his way I believe. The tour will never see another clean winner ever, not to say that anyone in the last 20 years was clean either.Chunky2007-07-24 11:32:03
  7. Chrispy Firstly I am not making any threats. Its simple, the CSA wants to know whats going on, and I want my license. They want me to cooperate, and why not. The point that I was very pissed about is the fact that other people who are known to be doing the same thing have not had the same repercussions as I have. If you going to apply rules, they must be applied to everyone who gets found out. So, if that is what you call a threat then you are very mistaken. This is a game that everyone plays at his own risk. If you roll the dice you pay the price in the end. Let me tell you that the CSA are not as blind as we think. They have a very good idea of what is going on in cycling, just no way yet to prove it. When I had my hearing with CSA Lawyers (Robbie Nielsen), It was very clear they knew what was going on. He mentioned the names of just about all the people that I know who use banned substances. If an athlete choses to take drugs, he must also have the balls to stand and face the music when he gets caught. I got caught and thats that. Perhaps Chrispy, you should contact Carinus Lemmer and ask him If I am threatening anyone, infact you will find quite the opposite. I could have long time ago ratted on everyone. He is the person that has been appointed by CSA to get to the bottom of this. The CSA also know that naming people on hearsay is not the way to sort the problem. Let them know that somebody is on to them and make it clear what will happen if they get caught is probably the best way to go. I made no guarantee's to anyone. They all knew what they were doing when they decided to walk that road. Besides, I really do belive now that doping needs to be stopped. To many people take it as the easy way to get results (Me included) but at the end of the day you are spending lots of money and damaging your body for what, a Gold medal at SA Champs or any other race for that matter. Its not worth it. Chunky2007-07-01 23:08:32
  8. Wonder when all the SA Riders are going to start confessing, that should be fun... I have been on the teams with the so called do gooders. I have also seen them with syringes hanging out their arms, but they all proclaim their innocense.

David George was today by far the strongest rider in the field. In fact, he was stronger than the whole MTN team put together. Lap 4 they tried to pay him off, and a few laps later he rode everyone except Lange off. Its a pity he didnt get this win. Everyone who was there knows just who won SA road champs this year. Granted, there are no nice guys when it comes to winning, but certain times you have to look at yourself in the mirror and ask if you really do deserve the medal around your neck.

Not To sure if Malcolm can feel so proud of this win. He sat on for 5 complete laps without even coming through for 10m. Just out of courtesy he should have not contested the sprint at the end, but then again thats just not his style now is it.
  12. Davel was by far the strongest rider at Track champs in the points race this year. Was a pity he lapped the field so fast on his own and not hang back and collect points. He would have won it hands down had he known. Seems CSA is very consistent in putting riders in the teams that dont deserve to be there. The team for B world champs is a joke and a shambles.
  13. JL trained by Barry Austin ??????

    Tubbies....

Bikemax...you wrong Tubby glue is not correct even though its advertised to do the job. PLIOBOND is the best glue to use. Track guys never use anything else.
  15. Lefty, I suppose you are right. I just get very pee'd everytime I hear what has happened. The last accident I witnessed was horrid. Its not nice seeing a person yuou ride with daily spread over 200 meters. There are some very valid points on this topic. Riders are there own worse enemies on the road. The usual safety in number syndrome seems to apply when riding in bunches. I know I used to feel far safer when there was a big bunch, forgetting that it made it even more difficult for the motorists to pass. My father for one complains to me every weekend about why cyclists have to take up the entire road. He also finds it difficult to understand why he gets sworn at when he ha sdone nothing wrong on the road. Perhpas its the cyclists that need to take the first step. There is nothing we can do about drunk drivers, but trying not to piss the average driver off may go a long way in saving lives.
  16. Imagine what its going to be like for someone having to explain you not coming home at 8 am either.
  17. Ah.. I suppose it happens so often nowdays nobody even gives a sh*t anymore do they. Whats another few dead cyclists. Dont worry, there were 30 000 odd prospective victims at the Argus. Perhaps we need to wait untill 15 000 of those have been mutilated on the roads before we do anything. But for now we will all just stand back and pretend nothing has happened.
  18. You lucky you werent killed like the others this weekend.... Bummer that the bike is broken, but a bust chainstay is far better than a bust neck. I really cant tell you if the Metro ploice are actually bothered or not. I know this is generalising but I can tell you I wouldnt be holding my breath if I needed them in a hurry. They always seem to be hiding behind the bush sleeping or parked in their car at a shopping centre. Again, just generalising so please dont shoot me !!!
  19. This now really pisses me off !!!!!!!!!
  20. Guess What, another cyclist killed...... http://www.news24.com/News24/South_Africa/News/0,9294,2-7-1442_2085391,00.html Hit-and-run claims delivery man Johannesburg - A 20-year-old newspaper delivery man was killed in a hit-and-run incident while cycling in northern Johannesburg on Sunday, said emergency workers. ER24 spokesperson Riana Beech said the incident occurred at around 05:00 on Witkoppen road just after the Douglasdale road turnoff. Witnesses on the scene told emergency workers that the vehicle did not stop after hitting the 20-year-old. A vehicle registration plate was found at the scene. Paramedics found the man in the middle of the road with severe head injuries and multiple limb fractures. His bicycle was broken in half. The man's mother was contacted but her son died before she arrived on the scene. She said she would never have thought that when he left home on Sunday morning, it would be the last time she saw him alive, said Beech.
  21. Sorry Guys, but this just really sends my moer meter through the roof. I know exactly where that guy got knocked over and if you go there at anytime during the day you will see that the taxi's just go sailing through the intersection all day long, even with the traffic department sitting just there. I can promise you one thing god forbid it ever happens. When you see a friend of yours in 100 pieces on the side of the road you also not going to use the correct 'new South African' terminology. I never thought something like this would ever bother me so much, but I cannot even consider getting back on my bike on the road after seeing that last accident. This is crazy, and it doesnt seem to be getting any better. ** Appologies to those who were offended**Chunky2007-03-18 04:19:55
