Depends on how dirty the bike is. MTB generally bi-weekly unless i have managed to keep it clean. I seem to manage to get dirt in to all sorts of parts. The only way I seem to get it properly clean is doing that. Also take the crank off every now and then to get the stupid grinding sound out. I like good old fashion Wynns engine degrease for chain and casette, but i take then off the bike first. Have also tried an aerosol spray degrease, worked great, but very expensive for the amount of cleaning i got out of it.

Yeah, thats the one. I just can't even drink the Naartjie, heck the smell when you open the packet is enough to send you running. Ah well, i guess the hunt continues for the perfect drink.

maybe the 38mm would be better in terms of cross winds, but the 50mm don't give too many issues in terms of cross winds. I ride a set of 404 at 74kg and dont have issues with cross winds, so doubt you would.

What sort of weight are you/ The lighter you are, side wind may impact more if you have a 50mm

No, not a post about seats... Ok, have what i think is a 350mm seat post. it is currently at the minimum level that needs to be in the bike. Can you get a longer seatpots? like 450. is it a standard thing that shops hold, or is it a special order??

Also went to Aaron at cyclefit. He moved my cleats on both road and MTB, changed road setup a bit and man O man felt brilliant. The issues that I had, after going for 2 previous setups at a bike shop, were cleared up in the first few rides with the new setup. I would recommend him to anyone, Brilliant!
