  1. Damn, just got permission from the DOHA. Is it too late? HR, trying to call you for that lefty... I will try again just now. Could always use the wifes, but you guys all laughed at me the last time, on Slowpokes bike. Remember... BMX Pocketbikes2008-06-21 14:09:57
  2. Well done Bateleur Even if some people had the bottle in their hands, they might not have the balls to do it, so good on you. What car was it? I would like to go to one of their "owners club" websites and see if they posted that they were thrown with a water bottle. The chances are min, but it would be nice to respond...and embarrass him. Time to fill my spare water bottle with cement
  3. This squirrel could be bankrupt, looks like he hasn't done a deposit for a while
  4. * Hijack on* To those of you that have followed the Tag saga, somewhere on the hub, I mentioned that people do great things for people they haven't met. * Hijack off* Nice one sampie
  5. HR, I take it you got the book... I've heard one might need a locksmith, after some of those moves, one might be tied up in a knot. Rabbit comes to mind as a good hub name for you. Nancy, I almost fell of my chair when you mentioned squirrel... Pocketbikes2008-06-18 17:48:38
  6. , I dunno if that's a good enough reason, but ya, I'm lus for ice cream now.
  7. Think I need to get you drunk... I need a few new moves....
  8. Just stirring .... actually, to be honest, I know it was a DS, but for a million bucks, I couldn't tell you what make it was
  9. Definitely nice meeting you too. Had to meet the mystery solver Always nice to put a face and name together. Someone had to look after the ankle biters Hog, nice meeting you too, but your name doesn't match your face. With the name Hog, I expected some rude, tattoo'd covered person Pocketbikes2008-06-17 12:34:58
  10. i was hardly the speediest person yesterday tnt mailed me this morning to say sorry. Geez' date=' then I must be in really bad shape... I also recall distant cries from way behind us pleading to slow down... or were those the voices in my head? [/quote'] That was my quad shouting for HR to slow down. That poor bike was "trapped" uphill, flew downhill, it even swam and then got screwed on the way home. HR, you weren't riding Bobbies Trance, were you? Second door on the left....cheers
  11. We all use engines. Yours might run on energy drinks and beers, mine will run on petrol
  12. Hi All. I'm definitely there Please meet your fotagraffer, armed response, parts/support vehicle and kindergarten !! I have "shipwrecker" and little "anvil cracker" on Monday, so I will do the trip on a quad. I can carry spares etc, although I think those would be tossed for beers!!
  13. oh, and by the way, I wasn't sleeping. I was checking the back of my eyelids for dust
  14. Gary caught her "visioning the win".
  15. Don't know that is.. I was so lucky as the lights (thanks Eishkom) went out as Chilli took the pick. The head gear was for the Osama look alike competition This was a 2 week growth, I go through the stages of not shaving every now and again. I have been asked before, if I was the fugitive, during the last fugitive game
  16. wisecrack couldn't talk, his mouth was full of breakfast
  17. Everyone's got an opinion on the safest way to ride. Some say single file on the edge of the road, others say 500 cm into the road to be visible etc. Whatever works for you is fine, but we can all SHARE the road. You don't have to hold up the traffic. To be honest, if I see a cyclist is trying his best to let me through, I show patience and only proceed to do so when it's safe for both of us. If he/they are being idiots and act as if I'm not there, why should I respect them? You get the courtesy you give. Pocketbikes2008-06-09 17:22:22
  18. The older I get, the more I realize how little I know. So, I am not going to jump into any discussions here. If money was no object, I am buying BL. With my budget, I like were Speedi15 is going with this.(if it gives enough light for a ride) What I can say, is that it looks good, considering it was once a torch
  19. Maybe next time, Oom H ... and I was always taught... IT"S THE THOUGHT THAT COUNTS.
  20. yes, there's a good possibility they were riding single file !! From the pic, you will see only 1 person missed the collision. Chances are, he was the leading cyclist and saw what was coming his way. Pocketbikes2008-06-08 10:27:17
  21. me me me, I'm a good buyer (or can't we vote for ourselves?) Klapperknop is a good guy. Bought my cf bike and been like a dream. Have hit 1 or 2 pot holes and everything is hundreds. Eduardo Bianchi too, bought a helmet and pedals. He even delivered it !!
