  1. This page:https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=29841&PN=7 Sammajoor's post (second one from the top)
  2. We all have our little things we do on the hub... ShaunH - Safety and fundraiser, Holy Roller - brings us the latest news and best places to carbo load, Nancy Drew - Investigations, Slowpoke - Confectioner(ess) mmmm chocolate cake.... coffee at Merc mmmm.... focus focus.... anyway, the point I am getting to, is that with 14 posts you are already organising hub rides. If we ever need any other rides... Cruzer - Organiser oh yes... I am in. Might dust of the ol tandem and join with the wife
  3. Got the DVD, if you wanna watch it on the way down ! OK, if it will help... there's a DVD in the bus for entertainment and a fridge (probably full with Holy's beers )... the trip will be a blast. Gary (support driver and photographer) says he will join to help make up the numbers, if we are short. Are we all going to hire bikes or must we start looking for a trailer ? 2 or 3 seats left... 4. Bobbie, I know it's a KZN hub ride, but can any hubber attend? If you can find accommodation for 8 people, we can use the bus and any hubber is welcome to jump in for a trip down to Durb and a ride at Giba. Fuel and toll gates, it would cost about R 200 - R 250 per person. We could leave on a Friday, cycle Sat and be back on Sun. The wife and I are in, 6 places available.
  5. Road: 1 X Fuji Team Issue (mine) Fun: 1 X Peugeot Tandem 1 X MTB Schwinn LT (wife) 1 X MTB Schwinn (mine and Baby's. Got child seat) 1 X BMX Raleigh (Son)
  6. I sort of, kind of, feel better now Now I just need to stick with you. Will have to bring one of those bungi cords
  7. We can agree that if anyone gets lost, they can meet up back at the M & B I see myself getting lost verrrry early in the ride
  8. We did look for you... just thought you were out getting a massage somewhere
  9. For those that haven't seen it - here's the trike, resting in the shade, after the Jock.
  10. I would have said " no brain, no pain. Without a brain, you wouldn't know you are getting tired" Having met you a few times, this is obviously not the case. It's more of "mental conditioning, goals and a big set of metal marbles." I am happy to know that I have shares in your pedals, you deserve them.. The money you raised for charity is a bonus WELL DONE !!!
  11. Hi mrmed, I have tried clicking on the link under "forthcoming attractions" but nothing happens. Do you have any more details?
  12. All my transactions have been great, no problems. The last transaction was the frame for Bernard Kapp fund. Angel wanted to pay upfront, due to these problems you speak about. My problem was that she might not like the frame then I would have to refund. Wolverine collected, no monies changed hands, Angel received it and then transfered part monies to BK fund and part to me. The point is that there are people here that will go far out of their way to help and never ever do you in. There are always a few exceptions. I know I might get burned one day. When I purchase, I want to pay first and when I sell, I want to send first and make sure the person is happy !!
  13. That's great. Did you have to pay in? Where's my commission?
  14. Punishment!!!! Thanks to me you got service. Plus, if you read my original post, I said IF THEY HAVE IT, expect a response. So I was right all the way. They contacted you by the end of the week and you got good service. A brand new unit !! For your punishment, you can ride blind folded The main point is your problem will soon be in the past Garmin, thanx for the service, again
  15. You can't be as happy as I am...
  16. Feel very relieved, and happy that I am now keeping my nuts The wife is complaining that I will finish too late as she finishes work at 12:00 and doesn't want to wait the whole day for me. Anybody doing the spruit on Sunday morn?
  17. Yipeeeee !! You are a good man Mux as you decided to let me keep my nuts before Garmin posted. BUT they did, so I keep them anyway. You see, service... Thanks Garmin, schew, that was close. I bet Garmin sat by watching this and letting me sweat for a while
  18. Muxie, I agree I can't change my words, but... You get great service from waiter "A" at Steers "B" and recommend them to me. I go to Steers X and get served buy a trainer. I will not be happy, but you were. The initial fault and misunderstanding was on my side. I got Jason confused with Nathan. When I reported all the great service, I was always at their counter and dealt with Nathan or Jaco. I thought you had dealt with Nathan, hence me putting my nuts on the line. I wouldn't have done it if I "knew" it was someone else. Customer service comes from the staff not the company, and I can and will put my nuts one the line (1: If I have any left after your forgiveness or 2: after my transplant) if you deal with these 2 guys. Forgiveness?
  19. Bye bye nuts... Jason is not in today. , and I have never met Jason I also got confused as I always see Nathan, not Jason. I asked Nathan to post here and I think he told Jason to do it as he is one of the big boys there. To be fair: You handed it in to a dealer and not Garmin (Avnic)The dealer might still have it and Jason is waiting for it, b4 he calls you.The workshop might get it and do what they have to, without Jason even knowing it came in.I might give you one nut, as I was talking from experience (with regards to service), but I have also gone directly to them and never through a dealer. So give me the benefit here....PLEASE Pocketbikes2008-07-11 03:42:20
  20. I thank you too.
  21. To be honest, I was tempted to do just that, but I am not going to. They have got to show their service... ya right.... what's their number again...
  22. Walkerville is a plan, I must just check with the MOHA because it is a bit later in the day. Where do we enter and what are the fees?
