Don't grab a handfull of brake - I use one finger braking & speed is your friend. There's probably nothing wrong with your setup,I'd guess that you going to slow. Brake before the turn and not in it if possible.If its sweeping switchbacks then its outside pedal and inside hand pushing down. I dont think there can be hard & fast rules but if its really techy, steep and rocky then you need to shift your pedals from outside to flat to avoid pedal strike.

I dont use my padded bike bag anymore, my bikes have been damaged by other baggage been thrown onto the bike bag. I now use a cardboard box from your LBC. Remove handlebars,peddals and rear derailer.Deflate tyres but not fork or shock. Then ask your shop for fork spacers and use them for the forks and swingarm. This will prevent any mishaps when your bike is a the bottom of the pile. Then what I do is put all my riding gear (clothes, lid, camelback)in between the frame in the box. Duct tape shut and away ya go.

Dont get me wrong this does not absolve the retailer from ofering him a refund - which he did. But if you cant workout a 20% discount then you probably dont deserve it!

Two things , firstly if you have two items @ 20% discount most people would do the maths in your head and know how much you should pay at the tills. Lastley if I were the owner and got a tweet like yours I'd also make it difficult for you get a refund- that will teach you for acting the bollox !

Great documentary, a must see if you are a Pearl Jam / or music fan. Some really awesome footage. But it’s also a look at the how all the 'alternative' bands influenced each other during that time. I've seen them live a handfull of times but this movie had me going and ticked all the boxes.
