  3. Nope, just get on a plane, have a holiday, while you buy your bike. Pop it in a bag and bring it home!
  4. What's great about this bike is that is standard with a BB30 Crank The SRP in the States is $2,999.00 Now it doesn't take a genius to work out that it is R24,000.00 with Dura Ace! Deal of the Century?

  6. Good Luck, I'm waiting for 2 parcels from CRC. I hear the backlog is insane!
  7. Not Correct in my Opinion. I have used Campagnolo for the last 7 years, my original BBB campag cassette tool works with my 10sp and 11sp cassette lockring. Just checked, my BBB, Park Tool and Campag Cassette Tool all fit both 10sp and 11sp.

  9. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Images/Models/Full/31393-1.Jpg Wouldn't mind something like this. Landed R20k incl. VAT Shipping and Duties although be smart and break it up! I'm with Intern, go large on a great second hand bike.
  10. Tandems are pricey. Special Frame and Fork, Special Wheels, Special Cables, Special Cranks, Special Brakes, 2 Bars, 2 Stems you see where I am going with this, EXPENSIVE!
  11. The riders where given them to ride in the mountains, Sanchez won his stage with the New Helmet. Smaller Vents but better airflow. The Atmos and Ionis never fitted my head so I moved over to a 2D Specialized...hopefully now I can go back to a Giro.
  12. Was wondering what lids the Giro guys had on the mountain stages, follow the link to se this piece of lightweight art. Lightest Helmet ever made! http://www.velonews.com/photo/95224
  13. Just funny how opinions change, When Ulrich did the same to Vino, the world was up in arms...Kloden again? Maybe he's a bit like Herschel Gibbs and just forgets the game plan!
  14. IMO they chased, Frank only went later after LA and AK had done a major amount of work... From the Horses Mouth (LA) "I think today he demonstrated he is the strongest man in the race," said Armstrong yesterday. "I thought I would feel a little better, but I didn't. I gave it everything I had and I wasn't the best, that's life."
  15. Cool Swiss, we obviously ride a race differently, if my team mate goes up the rode I don't ride as hard as I can behind him when the other guys don't immediately take up the chase, providing a platform for them to counter me! Generally I go to the back and watch as they reclaim a race that is busy running away from them! Then attack them when they have nothing left. but hey, I'm not LA, I'm a TEAM player.
  16. Finally' date=' someone said it. When AC went I would have expected LA and AK to sit on and make the Shleck bunch chase...but not a chance LA instructed AK to ride "Tempo" (!)[/quote'] ? Fact or figment of imagination? ? If I'm not mistaken AK and LA did not chase, it was the other riders like Schlecks, Sastre, Wiggins, Nibali, Evans?who tried first to catch AC,? LA / AK tried to catch them... ? Sorry SwissVan, LA was chasing, if he wasn't he would've gone to the back. LA and AK provided a perfect launch pad for FS , BW, VN and CS to jump them after they'd paced for 2.5km. If you want to see LA not chasing watch how he handled the George Hincapie day, he pulled the whole of Astana off the front, he didn't stick three guys up front to ride "TEMPO". ? ? ? ?
  17. Isn't it better tactics what they did. They kinda kept the bunch back while Contador went, gave him more time for a bigger gap and only after a while did the rest of the boytjies go chase. And when they did, Lance still couldn't go with them. WW sure if they did ride Tempo, which they didn't! I've never seen a guy ride Tempo with LA's grimmace. He was at max. LA should have hung back and made the other GC guys Chase...in true LA fashion, he couldn't be second.
  18. Finally, someone said it. When AC went I would have expected LA and AK to sit on and make the Shleck bunch chase...but not a chance LA instructed AK to ride "Tempo" (!)
  19. Finally all the endless talk is done...Contador rode today like a champion.Schleck gave it a good go, Sastre made LA eat his I would've kicked their arses comment, Cadel proved sometimes the rabbit beats the tortiose and wiggins impressed. LA by his own admission had nothing more...my question remains. When will we see a KOM that is worthy of the jersey? And I really like Pellizoti, saw him win at mama rosa in the Giro, out of the mist...he was brilliant.
  20. No need my details are on my profile, I've got no need to hide!
  21. It's in meadowdale (R24) near OR Tambo International. I'm back from CT tomorrow. Unit E6 Route 24 50 Herman Street, Meadowdale. It will be ready from 13h30
  22. I have one. You'll need to pick it up and return it.
  23. Today was boring, boring, boring... The route is starting to look like it could destroy this tour. A medium Mountain Finish, couple more of these Mountain in the middle stages, a TT of 40 flat Km's and then bam the Hardest Mountain in France! The End.
  24. If you do your research the Hutchi guys have won races on Tubeless, remember Campag is only the third wheel manufacturer to make a tubeless rim, so teams not using shimano wheels with Hutchi tyres can't use tubeless. If you've used it you'll see, until then keep riding your clinchers/tubbies... Cannondale launched BB30 years ago, only now is it catching on. Either you innovate or you follow, you decide.
  25. I agree...only 32 seconds, could've sworn it was more often than that. My best is when they both say the same thing cause they were busy commentating on another show!
