Thanks GFishy - Mandibles suggested getting a locksmith to get the case open. So once they're open I'll reset them like you said and problem solved.

Here's the story - I'm borrowing my friend's Scicon race case to go down to do the Herald next weekend. Said Scicon race case is locked and no-one remembers the combination. So 1) we've got to get the case open and 2) we need to reset the combination. Any ideas?

7.3 kg - Road Bike

Ok so I've done one short ride on Saturday and a longer ride today and here's what I have discovered ... This bike is AWESOME!! It feels incredibly fast but is still comfortable and smooth which is something I didn't always feel on my alu frame (comfy and smooth not fast) The Sram gruppo is something I'll have to get used to though - if I'm not thinking about it I end up in the wrong gear

Just got it home. Sorry no couch but the lounge is upstairs and I didn't want to tempt Murphy by carrying my bike up the stairs. Can't wait to ride tomorrow!!

Sorry to hear about this Wolfie. Plan on doing quite a bit of riding over the festive season so I'll keep a look out for you.

Christie I just started off wanting a full carbon bike that was a bit lighter than what I have now and a better fit etc etc. Then I thought about getting a Dale ... then I saw some Dales (Spidey's included) and wanted one. And then I couldn't get one in my size. So now I'm really just back to where I started in terms of wanting a full carbon bike that fits better whilst still being lighter. It would be nice to have something different which is why I'm looking around again and the Look caught my eye. So we'll see - I'll see the frame today and then decide. Turtlek ... I have a Bianchi and its awesome ... I'm just trying to satisfy the perfect number of bikes equation ... N + 1

Hey you guys are supposed to be helping me get over the fact that I might not yet be able to own a Dale!!! Not bombarding me with pics of them @ Mellow - have an MTB. Not sure if I need another one. Although I guess I don't technically NEED another road bike either.

Thanks Scalpel - the pic of Spidey's Dale was enough though Well, I'm looking at the Look tomorrow (there is no way around the pun is there) and I'll find out about the other Dale frames. Also having a quick peek at a Cervelo. And then I'll post pics of what I decided on ... watch this space

So just to sum up ... there's nothing terribly wrong with a Look frame except that its not a Cannondale? I think I should report your post Spidey!!! I was kinda hoping to find a 2008 Cannondale but alas this is not meant to be. Quite a jump in price for the 2009 frame so gotta keep shopping around.

I thought I had a clue about frames etc but now that I'm shopping around there's a zillion frames out there and all of them are apparently "the best". And to think all I wanted was a full-carbon bike that I could try and be a bit more competitive on Am now thinking that I have opened a can of worms on myself here ...

The only one I've seen is the 566.

The one I've seen is just over 1kg for the frame so its ok. I'll check out the sites and see what they have to say.
