Ok I seriously have missed something ... the "L-word"??

As always I never know where a good place would be to start a topic so as this is a question about a bike .... I've been looking (no pun intended) at a Look frame. Anyone got comments/experience/wild statements etc about them? I tried searching the Hub but "Look" is a reasonably popular word

Slick you'd be surprised how many don't know that there's a difference. Had the opposite situation happen at the beginning of the year - took my shoes in for the LBS to put on new cleats and they put on Keo cleats instead of Delta. Without checking I went off to do the Ride for Sight - was a harsh ride with my shoes lifting up everytime I pedalled Thankfully they replaced them when I went back so v1nc3nt you should be fine to have them exchanged.

I'm with Homer on this one - rest!! I've felt like that before when I've over done it. You might find your salts and minerals are depleted so taking something like Rehidrate over the next few days might help too.

Is it also not different from person to person? One of my cycling buddies can happily swallow caffeine loaded gels from start to finish of the ride. I usually only dare to use one in the last hour because I get the serious rattles from just one.

I got myself a Silverback Nabraska - ended up being around R8000 with new shoes, Camelback and the bike. I don't MTB much but I wanted a MTB so that I could do the odd ride and if I decided to get more into it that I had a bike that I could at least do a few races on without it falling apart. Make sure you get a ladies specific saddle for her bike otherwise she won't want to ride often (or at all) I also got one of the ladies Camelbaks which I found to be less bulky and uncomfortable. So thats my 5c (USD not rond)

Sorry to hear Onetime. Even if you are insured it doesn't make up for the fact that someone has taken what you've had to pay for and look after. And it really irks me that the police say these things happen - they shouldn't happen!!

Specialised Ladies Road Shoes - no knee problems, good fit.

Had a similar experience with Cyclesure - broke my sunglasses in such a stupid way I didn't think they'd even believe me. 2 days later had replacement lenses.
