  1. I know I don't say much but I often log in during the day and read most of the posts and I've also noticed how much "back to its old self" the Hub has gotten
  2. Wow - he can be glad he was wearing a helmet.

    Helmets

I've got a Bell Sweep - nice air vents, fits well, feels comfy. But it really is better to get a good quality helmet that fits properly. So if Bell doesn't fit well but Giro does then go for the Giro.
  4. Can you explain the "turn them and turn them back" process to me? I've got a set of these wheels and they seem fine but I would obviously like to prevent them becoming not ok.
  5. 1.84 m - they just don't make WSD bikes for ladies like me
  6. Hey ... according to that crank length calculator I need 177.5 mm cranks. And then if you go to the link to calculate my bike size I need a bigger bike too. I ride 175 mm cranks on 57 frame and it works for me. Have ridden a 60 frame (when I just started and only used my inseam measurement to buy a bike), a 58 frame (when I realised the 60 frame was just too big) and a 56 frame before I settled on this one so I know that what I've got works for me. Wouldn't put too much stock in the whole calculation - I ride the best where I'm the most comfortable.
  7. Harder AND LONGER
  8. I'm sure it does. I use Cytomax (pre, during and post) - its the only supplement that I have used (and I've used all in your list) that didn't leave me feeling hungry 45 mins into the ride and also the only one that I felt sustained me for the full duration of the ride. Tastes nice too.
  9. Also the specific shoes made a huge difference for me. I used to have a relatively inexpensive pair of shoes which was the best I could afford at the time. When I got my Specialized road shoes the difference was incredible.
  10. Ok I haven't been on the Hub all day - what happened?
  11. no real cure for either?but we can work on the symptons. Well I have got inhalers for the asthma so that helps. To solve the cluelessness I hang around the Hub - wonder if its helping?
  12. ** hijack on continued ** We love you PI ** hijack off **
  13. Wow. I've been asthmatic all my life ... and clueless apparently.
  14. I voted 12/25 because if it was a choice between the two I'd use the 12/25 cassette over the 11/23 As it is, I've got a 12/23 on my bike.
  15. Awesome pics Mootoo - looks like you guys had the greatest time.
  16. Got it setup ok with the cassette and chainring. Will check it out over the weekend and see if we can get it started. Thanks guys.
  17. So here's my story. I had a Shimano Flightdeck that I wasn't using anymore so I gave it to one of my cycling buddies. I got it installed on her bike OK but for the life of me I can't remember how to start it? The buttons on the handlebars are working - I can scroll through the functions but I can't figure out how, when she wants to ride, to start the thing to record her distance etc etc So now my friend has a really neat gadget that tells her nothing Anyone got one of these gadgets? Oh and know how to start it?
  18. Yes - ban for life.
  19. so did you say "Bokkie" to her in a "seductive" moment the other day' date=' when she promptly fell over and hurt your leg? [/quote'] No Bobbie, I do not talk dirty to her, she is a sensitive lady and must be treated with due respect. Whispering into her Ergo levers however, she enjoys!! I will never be able to look at my Bianchi the same way again
