  1. Just lube it and ride. Take it for it's normal service and they will fix it. I wouldn't worry too much.
  2. Crown Cycles in Claremont. Mark is/was into DH riding and would be able to help you.
  3. My new pillow makes me faster. Sleep better at night time.
  4. Club 100 ct meet at Constantia Village at 7am on Saturdays and Sundays. Very close to Claremont. A group of guys also meet outside Kelvin Grove at 6am on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Loads of groups in town as well. Wake up 30 minutes earlier and cycle to town. Join the cycle lab group (phone them for details) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Where about in Claremont, feel free to pm me this as it's personal information (safety)?

  6. With my bike on my roof on a recent trip to Oudtshoorn (for the cycle race) my car got very good petrol consumption. You tend to drive slower as well as not breaking as hard etc. Without the bike on I would have gone faster (120 instead of 100km/h). But, most people will struggle getting the bike onto the roof. Luckily I don't have that problem but I often hear loads of people complaining. I have the Thule bike roof holder.
  7. The only part of the M3 that is a highway/freeway is Wynberg hill (Constantia till robots by paradise motors)? Just trying to find out as I remember being told this? It's only illegal to cycle on a highway/freeway?
  8. Wrong side of the bed?
  9. What an #@$#*.
  10. I am 201cm and weigh 80kg's.

  12. Specialized???
  13. Very good wheels! I had them and they were great.
  14. My link
  15. APE Town for sure!!!
  16. Your saddle also plays a huge role in how comfortable you are. My specialized saddle has helped as it's the width of my sit bones. I also have some fairly old MTN club kit which has really bad padding and it doesn't hurt.
  17. Out of all my bibs my rapid sport bibs are the best. Custom made to fit me and it fits well. After you have played around with one pair and found the perfect size it's easy to get a few more made as I have all the measurements on hand. Oh and the price @ 500 zar is great!!! I really cannot comment on any other brand as I haven't tested any of them.
  18. Must say bridge are one of the best when it comes to returning phone calls and actually trying to sell a bike. Bought a new bike from Bridge as they phoned me while Olympic sent me an sms (and after talking to loads of people it seems as though this is what Olympic always do).
  19. Oh how I heard.
  20. Good frame. Never liked the Specialized allez.
  21. Cannondale!!!
  22. Surely the car is now damaged? Obviously stolen otherwise they stupid. Nice bike but nice damage to the pick up which would have to be repaired.
