  1. Going local is to expensive for me. I have till now go everything cheaper from over the seas (landed prices) and well worth the 1 week - 2 weeks wait (yes I have been lucky too regarding the posting times)
  2. If you inport a complete bike you are going to get clapped by duty!
  3. Not locally I know that
  4. CRC. I placed the order last Tuesday (27th) and got it today with the free mail option.
  5. I wasnt planning to buy anything this year riding related until I realised I needed knee guards...and then the tops and helmet and lense and brake pads got added to the box too..
  6. Northcliff cycles? Not many places sell that lube and it is pretty awesome! Both great purchases.
  7. So I bought this last week (ya know the colour...)...... The this week I am dreaming about... YT was really really evil! I bet they knew it will be hard for me to resist!
  8. That is my old fork, it just had a service so felt like new again (it was giving lots of issues last year). Hakahana is a good place to learn how to jump because the jumps are 'safe' (the wall drop has a palet in now so you can start off real slow at 1st).. here is a vid of me doing it at roll in speed and still clearing it (the gap/palet).. https://www.facebook.com/#!/video.php?v=10152949937881276&set=vb.744721275&type=2&theater (sorry for the fb link but cant post other links at work) The 1st 2 times I went there I was too scared to try it, many factors freaked me out, but I can say there is actually nothing to be scared about. SP1 at Hakahana has a veriety of feachers and even smaller 'rock drops' and a steep rock roll and lots of rocky terrain to practice on. I think it is a good place to drain the tips from Peach.
  9. Can I come crash the one at Hakahana? I might be able to help with the 1st uplift to the top if you want and I can be the lady dummy if you think having a lady do things will make them other riders more confident...
  10. A perfect warm day... Now just to go find a pool to cool down in.
  11. Some sunshine between all the rain
  12. Yes Jozi does...they people dont sell their things here, they give it away thats how much cash they have lying around...
  13. Last ride in JHB/Gauteng for 2014.
  14. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2869069/Oh-shame-married-MAMIL-s-Middle-Aged-Man-Lycra.html
  15. That isnt bad at all. I will post mine (the HD's though) tomorrow. They are DONE! I was good this year so I hope Santa brings me tyres!
  16. oooh I might be interested...can you please measure the distance shown below...please measure it as a horizontal measurement and not a curvature (I assume you have one on a wheel somewhere pumped up at around 1.8-2bar)..
  17. Nice night ride last night..
  18. So I realised that Cycle Lab stocks Craft so I went there to see if they had baggies to fit. The had one style mens ones (black) and the S fits me but they were R1799. (At least I know the sizing now). Worst is, they got ION shorts in yesterday and unfortunatly they were in my fav colours, so I dont know how it happened, but I walked out with 2 pairs. For summer I think these are going to be amazing. It feels like you dont have anything on. (They had these ones and then some made from even a thinner more stretchy material that was a bit cheaper too.) Thumbs up to Cycle Lab for stocking noce baggies! (right at the entrance too)
  19. Any of you owned or fitted Craft baggies before? I want to buy a pair but their sizing looks weird. They say a 38 is a M and when I look at the measurements the millimetres are the same as usual 32-34's. (According to what I know 38s are usually L or XL). The shorts are teal so I have to have a pair. I need enduro baggies (not dh shorts) urgently so if you guys know of other black or blue shorts please let me know.
  20. They had me at .... the colour
  21. but but but...he doesnt have a vest on his his pp so he doesnt have guns.. sun's out guns out...
  22. Are you suggesting that shakamara is like a dog?...that he can put the knee guards like yours on his elbows?
  23. That section is super steep and bumpy. Brakes dont help at all. Very cool trails though. (Personally I think it is too expensive for too few options/trails. Other places in EU is better value for money and much more fun in general.)
