  1. You know the answer. 😉😁 Bars are the Ritchy WCS alu bars. Very comfy.
  2. As Scalpel correctly pointed out. Green is the new thing. I wonder if I sell it one day if I can say it is in "mint condition"?
  3. Also had this bike. AMAZING ride and I miss the bike very much.
  4. Early mornings are the best.
  5. Were you able to source locally?
  6. I saw some CCTV footage this morning. It was done individually. Each bike was RIDDEN out the door.
  7. In general, the pedals are good. Loved the look. I could get my old Cannondale Spider rings back on the bike again and the pedals gave pretty cool funky data (not that I used any of it, hahahhaha) But where my accountant head got stuck was 600 hours of training gave me an expense of R1200 excluding service and bearings. Compared to my Power2Max spider that gave me 600 hours of training for R32. (150 hours at R8 per battery bulk buy chinese) with no service fee or bearing replacement etc. I guess each product has their pros and cons and you just have to figure out what works for you and what you want out of it.
  8. 100+ hours in a month? That would be nice hey? 😁 My boss (and my wife) won't approve...........
  9. I got mine from Communica in Johannesburg. https://www.communica.co.za/products/cr1-3n-varta Not a big mission really. Order online and they deliver. If I remember correctly, you can "stack" two LR44 batteries (available at Dischem at around R30-R40 a battery-need 4) if you want but various reviews I read said it was not ideal.
  10. I got 104 hours and 49 minutes. An average of 50 hours training per month. Batteries replace every 2 Months. R85 per battery. Two batteries for two pedals R1020 for betteries and and a one time delivery fee from supplier of R200. (CR1/3N cannot be found "off the shelf")
  11. Bright Easy to mount No external battery Well made with no plastic bits. https://www.exposurelights.co.za/ Expensive but you but them once and the last forever.
  12. I bought a set of Garmin pedals. Have used them for about a month and then realised that I will be spending around R1200-R1500 per year on batteries. Hence my decision to ditch them and go the Assioma route.
  13. https://www.4x4megaworldonline.com/vehicle-accessories/led-bars-driving-lights/bzr-x-series-9-led-driving-lights-w-harness/?gclid=Cj0KCQiAjc2QBhDgARIsAMc3SqQZHVLnnbcK1FSWK-nXhiOt6muzNIKlICNV0Vt8i-kZfp5-KklQNYIaAnBoEALw_wcB There you go
  14. Setup the quick access button as a light. Easy to do and then ANY watch Fenix 6/7/Epix is a torch like the 7X. 😉
  15. Will CSA listen? No. They'll give Nationals to the province/town who bids for it and where they can save the most money.
  16. Like I said. I had 3 seconds to copy and paste. Use the info, don't use it, be offended, don't be offended. Fact is (and that is what I was trying to get at) the traveling to ANY of these destinations (excluding Pretoria - I think......and FFS don't quote me on this) is a moer of a mission. Air ports, then travel 100+ km an a direction and most places (Graskop, Kimberly etc) don't even have decent commercial airports. Again..........repeating.........have Nationals in 'n decent CAPITAL. Cape TOWN and Jhb. (anywhere in Jhb/Pta) Alternate. That way traveling is easier with less logistics and you can grow crowds.
  17. Jip, I see he has quite the CV https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider/byron-munton
  18. 23 year old from Houtbaai. Impressive! 😱 Putting minutes into the European pro riders.
  19. Then on a bike without a powermeter, the "energy" is derived from HR?
  20. I was in a hurry. I actually have work to do. Grab the data and go for it. 😄
  21. I think, with CSA and SA champs, it has more to do with who WANTS to host the champs than what and were is fair to the rider.
  22. And I think THAT is where the "marketing team" of CSA (stop laughing) falls short. When the event was in Pretoria, we had road closures.....hundreds and hundreds of people lining the lap with shouting and sheering and running next to you on the final climb. It was truly magical.....almost out of a European race video. It was beautiful to see. And I would think exactly (if not bigger and better and more) would be true for Cape Town if it was held there. IN TOWN. If it was me, I'd alternate between these two cities every year. Make it an EVENT of note. Traveling is easier and you will have crowds and support and infrastructure etc etc. Pipe dreams.
  23. I think my point was................most Gautengers did not bother with Swellendam just as most Capies won't bother with Graskop.
  24. Fact or perception?
