  1. I've tried Giro, Fizik, Pearl Isumi but what got my vote in the end was the Specialized ones. Fairly widely available and not too expensive. Shop measures you and then you get 3 different sizes. Worked for me.
  2. Although I read this morning "WADA set to investigate drug found in the hair of three cyclists at 2021 Tour de France" https://www.cyclingweekly.com/news/wada-set-to-investigate-drug-found-in-the-hair-of-three-cyclists-at-2021-tour-de-france-we-are-entitled-to-ask-certain-questions?utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=socialflow&utm_source=twitter.com Seems it is a legal substance not banned outright by WADA
  3. I've sent mail, I've sent PM. nothing.
  4. To whom do they give it back to when they are done with it? Asking for a friend.
  5. Not driving 110km to go fetch a piece of paper. Petrol is expensive. Thus they will not get my money this year.
  6. Give this a try. Sometimes it pops more information up that might help https://www.17track.net/en

  8. SA Postal service. Best of luck.
  9. Rule 29: No European Posterior Man-Satchels Saddle bags have no place on a road bike, and are only acceptable on mountain bikes in extreme cases Dem de rules.
  10. So what does a saddlebag say about your character? 😉🤣
  11. If he can ride on (and in) this, you could do ANYTHING your heart desire. Only one rule. Enjoy the ride!!!!!
  12. Aero shape stem? I'm confused........ On a 9 year old Synapse?..........more confused....... Aero was not even invented in 2013 yet. And the Synapse is the LEAST aero bike of all the Cannondales......it's a touring bike designed for comfort. Take any stem (If you want aero, go for the new Enve stem) and chuck it on there and be done with it. 🤙
  13. You mean TR.........the latest "hookless compatible" one
  14. From what I understand from the LBS is that Evo bikes did not go through Conti SA. Thus pricing for early adopters IMO. I'll wait and see what the cost when they actually do arrive. Also, the first couple of batches had "issues"......don't know exactly what but reading on actual cycling forums I found that the "v2" should be coming out the factories in Feb and thus why there are shortages worldwide of the GP5000 TR
  15. And it's up https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2022/01/garmin-fenix7-7s-7x-in-depth-review.html
  16. Pretoria Club rides
  17. Willie is in SA until SA Champs. He does not ride for the Bogus team and will return to his old Spanish team from where he started out as a pro

  21. Baie sterkte @*Reinet* Marais Ons dink aan julle in ons gebede. Francois se stories en opgewektheid en entosiasme en positiwiteit gaan baie gemis word.
  22. This will be my 10 one. Aiming to break my PB at 1034km for the 8 days. The weather always plays a huge roll in this. If you cannot do a 100 every day because it is pouring, then you have so much more pressure on the following days. But it's always a fun challenge with the added benefit of good fitness and amazing friendships that gets formed over hours of faffing around on bikes.
  23. I see they have added "virtual rides" to the challenge this year.
  24. IDT does not count towards Rapha500 (Dont' know these days but back in the day you had to go OUTSIDE). The whole point of the Rapha500 is to have adventures and fun outside!
