  4. I am in for Sunday.............around 8:30ish would be perfect.
  5. Sunday......what about riding on sunday.... ????? anyone.....???
  6. good point.......eish.....
  7. That would be great...but 5:30 is already too late for me. I need to be back home, showered, dressed and fed by 6am already otherwise the rest of my day is out of alignment......... In summer, (when its warmer) I usually go out at around 4:30 for about an hour. Not too hectic a workout but a workout non the less..................
  8. coolest................I think this may actually be one of the first JHB Slow and Unfit rides......eventually..
  9. .....and i am calling Richard out.................... R I C H A R D ..........! ! ! ! ! !
  10. schweet..........I got a black Scott with extra suspension. i will be the one looking lost while looking for the lost dude on the SS.
  11. Yes, around 14/15km is fine with me. Richard, you get your pass? Maxxis, so you a defnite then. 9:30 at the shop? you wearing a special pink lycra so I can identify you?
  12. okay...so come and do 35km then.................
  13. Richard, me neither. Most I have done is 35km, so this will be a good challenge. SIR Maxxis....so 9:30 Saturday morning....at the coffee shop? you there? Richard will make a nice threesome!! .....come on ....you know what I meant!! any other newishbees want to join?
  14. I am looking at going on Saturday morning around 9:30ish to do route 3. Anyone wanting to join in (and show me the way) Looking to do the 45km loop......... Anyone.......is that your hand Richard? I think I saw it?.....
  15. Northern Farm - Route 1 - just under an hour..... now where do I collect my prize?? :whistling:
  16. This is socking!!!
  17. Richard, where do you ride 16km on a Wednesday evening? I do a 10km loop in our complex twice a week. Average 21km/h but it's basicaly on paving all the way...but still gets the legs turning. I might be at NF on Saturday, but with my son so only looking at doing the 1 loop, around 13km. Or if JMBC decide to have a slower ride in Heidelburg I will be there on Sunday. 46km I think..... I thought the 94,7 had a 40km relay type race for the not-so-fit, all onroad. Then the big road race (94,7km) and then the two MTB rides, 35km and 55km.?? is the relay race the 1/2 race being refered to here? Maybe I'll just do that one aswell....with road tyres tho.
  18. And this as a result of your fitting the other day right................?
  19. *sigh* this is also a topic discussed to the end................especially in my house! I have a very simple solution...............eat less/healthier and exercise more. Results guaranteed............... I have only lost about 7 kg since the beginning of the year when I got onto a bike for the 1st time in forever,,,,,but prefer to lose it slow and keep it off.
  20. eish..............too late I see........
  21. Send me your log-on details and password and I will try from here......It may be your connection over there....... ..........................what do you mean "NO!!" :whistling:
  22. I got my M530's and Shimano M077 shoes delivered yeterday courtesy of Buycycle and a fathers day gift certificate. Promptly proceeded home and fitted everything.then promptly proceeded to fall over for the first (and probably not last) time. :w00t: Can't wait to try them out on the trails...................
  23. one (or more) word(s)..............remote lock-out.......problem solved.
  24. Let us know how it goes....and what the final cost end up at. I need to do something similar soon.......
  25. Hi Ryan, I live in the area (on Bellairs drive) but do not ride in the mornings...............wayyyyyyyyy to cold at the moment. Spend either Saturday or Sunday at the local riding spots....(when it is warmer and you can actually feel most of your body parts.... ) I am sure there are still the die-hards that are training and riding in the mornings, maybe a little slow in their responses tho.. Good luck.
