hats off to so many guys and ladies out there for performing like pro's. I rode C barely survived to the 70 km Mark. Got scooped up by some late A and B guys and we flew making up time... but alas, the cramping at the 90km mark forced me to struggle the last hour limping to the line. It was a great day for me,rode with lots of fun guys ... To the the misserable people: Its supposed to be fun (Gee wizz) !!! Final time of 3h37

Well Up To the organisers, This event was TOPS... MY Ride.... whole other story, went too hard in BL the first hour so ended up cramping to HELL , Thanks to the marshalls for assisting(legs locked up and almost took some guys down...so sorrrrrry). A Pathetic 3h06 but hey ... I Had an awesome time !!!! To the idiots who leave you out in the wind after pacing (those lazy A-Holes who never come through, but refuse to let you into the bunch), Thanks for Nothing

They say be careful what you wish for... BL Start for Me ... I get to experience bleeding gums (assuming my bike can be fixed after the crash at R4S) . Fingers crossed

E Bunch report : Seems that the 4kgs I lost helped a lot today... Until the crash on the 60km mark(I got slaamed from the left by a rider in red and white kit), almost put me under an oncomming Truck... I shat myself but kept it together . Sadly that guy went down hard ... very hard (any feedback please). I went on but the bike took some damage , Crank clunking and Big Blade only , Nicely in time for the Hills. Kicked myself for that 54 chainring (lol).Needless to say i GOT dropped after the stops trying to get gears working. Had a great ride in spite of the bad result (3h30). Thanks to All the guys up front for making the time together so much Fun

T i do that cos I struggle on climbs(100kgs excl the bike), but guys get upset..they think i'm attacking ...(hands over eyes)... and then they dont let me back into the bunch. So end up on the tail at the next climb, then inevevitably...fall off at the next climb

MIND BOGGLING !!!

Tough day for me in D, popped the hell out of myself trying to support my wingman half way up Hillsnax. (only to have my legs totally killed by Robbert broom drag). Got to Lionpark then stopped to fix his chain which I first had to go find at the top of Lionpark Climb, rode back down , repaired , then back on with cold legs ... bleeding gums ... urgghhhh ...Those last 3 kms were hell !!! Maropeng stretch : There was a guy on a stunning 29er, Black BMC softail (dude... catch a wake-up, you need to hold your line, swaying between the shoulder and white line almost taking out several of us was not cool) . It was a joke , he held a peloton off cos we were to scared to pass. Anyway... anybody see the tiny kid (looked like a 12 year old), he stuck in the bunch with a smile (i was impressed) Well done to all ... some awesome results Our club got podiums in elites ladies, juniors, and vets ... hey , hey, hey

my buddy got taken out by a car last year(white toyota) about 10 ks from the finish ... flipped right over the roof into the veld... he was ok(bike not so much)... but im back too
