Yeah. One thing is i have a new found respect for the fitness you guys need. Holy crap i was puffing like a steam train at the end of each run.

For an event put together by two youngsters i think it was brilliantly done. As good as some of the XCO races i have been too. The atmosphere was amazing! Everyone one was keen to help and give advise and even some parts in my case.

no wonder they so freaking nimble on a bike!

Yeah my 3 year old son brought it home from creche i guess, Passed it on to me and my wife. I dont normally take off when sick but this had me literally sweating from a fever and flat on my back.

I have been suffering with Swine Flu and then a lung infection in the upper and lower lobes of both lungs. Basically havent been on a bike since Sani. Decided to go and try my luck at some DH. Man what a rush. Sean is a sneaky Russian though. Brings the heaviest and oldest bike. Rides in normal riding shoes note even DX or flats and then takes 1st in sports class.

Its funny how you bump into people you dont even know. I came third and spent the day pretty much with Sean32 not even knowing it was.

All i can say is i love the fact that my LBS is pretty handy with a camera!!

can you tell us the name of this app. I downloaded the Wada app and it wants the specific ingredients. Not so easy when you are sitting in a doctors rooms and they are prescribing stuff for you. And app whereby i can just type Neurofen etc would be very handy to me.

OK so i have forgotten all about raising a pup. At 4 this morning Jazz was howling wanting to go out. I let her out. She runs around getting her feet wet and then comes inside to pee on the carpet!

Meneer i feel your pain. I took 4 weeks off after Sani and then as i started training again i got swine flu for 2 weeks and now a lung infection! Been another 3 weeks off the bike.

PLease tell me Wayne didnt buy himself a cattle grid too?

I have and there is only one man to go and see. DR Brekon at Morningside. After six months of physio and countless Rands spent i went to go see him and after a quick surgery i was on the mend.

Just to note that mine will be a team entry.
