  1. The rear wheel is adjustable with the horizontal dropout. There is also a curved cutout running the length of the wheel recess so that the tyre fits into a rounded section making it look like there is no gap. Pretty tight though.
  2. Totally acceptable. Wearing your favorite pro teams kit actually goes toward sponsoring the team as if it is the original kit then it was released in order to market for the sponsors on a wider basis and also to help generate additional funds that goes back into cycling. Take the Springbok supporters kit. I don't think it is lame to support your team and help the sport at the same time.
  3. Damn, I never noticed that. She probably took her shoes away so she couldnt run far. That actually worries me what she might do to her.
  4. I hear you guys. I think I should ride her everyday just to make a point now. I think I should go and lube her up now. Stuff wax, wet lube here we come.
  5. My wife caught me with a new girlfriend in our house and has frozen all my bank accounts and won't allow my girlfriend to sleep in our house. Do you think she is being fair? I don't. Here is a pick of my new girlfriend.
  6. From my experience there is not much difference between products in terms of the energy they will release into your body. So long as you eat and drink enough you should have enough energy to race. One big misconception is low GI products. They are in my opinion a waste of money as when you are racing you need the energy to go straight into your blood on a continual basis in order to prevent your glycogen from being depleted and so you need to eat and drink continuously through an event. Actually I race best on a mix of powerade and barone type chocolates. I even used these in the Giro last year because I got so sick of eating the usual bars in december training and racing I could only stomach choc by then. It worked really well. Just a caution though, if you do take Cytomax monitor your moods. If you have moods swings and get overly aggressive there is a chance the Cytomax is doing that to you. A few of my team mates and I were into Cytomax bigtime at one stage and a couple of us had bad mood swings. We figured it was Cytomax and when we stopped all symptoms gone. Good luck, bottom line is don't stress too much about expensive products, just make sure you consistantly eat and drink enough throughout an event to sustain the effort.
  7. I sell quite a bit on the hub and it comes down to what kind of a seller you want to be. Even though I generally work on a first come first serve basis, there are a lot of chance takers who say they are interested and then I never hear from them again or they want to pay way too little for an already fair price. Generally I will hold the product for the first person who says I want it but have a question. But then he must commit and put the funds down or it goes to the next person in line. At the end of the day, it is up to the seller to decide who he wants to sell the product to. Even though you said dibs, it does not mean that he should be ogliged to sell it to you. It may reflect on his future sales success, but then again he may just be interested in what he believes is the fastestg and surest sale. I think posting this about the seller is a little pointless as it is gone and there are many other helmets out there to be bought. Not worth the effort. Good luck, hope you get something!

  11. It is interesting to see a TT champ wearing gloves and with such a short section front wheel. I see his top is also unzipped and his cabbles have not been clipped back properly. Could get a good few seconds off if he sorted all that out. But the kit does look nice! Hijack off!
  12. Still have stock on most items.
  13. One of my mates is a Tour rider and on a day out together he saw my new S2 for the first time and we chatted about the brand. He said that the Cervelo was one of the most desirable bikes in the peloton if not the top. I think there are a lot of guys who wished they road Cervelo. His personal words about Cervelo, "Man I wish our team road those!"

  20. Maybe there are a few hubbers who go fastert than you think.
  21. I would guess the nerve pain is mostly in your small toes? Once you get your ball of big toe directly over the pedal axle you are in a push neutral position. i.e. when you stand up your weight is directed directly downward into the pedal axle (laymans terms). Think of it like this. When you climb steps (similar to cycling action) you push off the ground from the balls of your foot. You dont push off your acrch or the tips of your toes. The power is in the balls of the foot as that is the solid base of your foot. Toes can move and your arch is not in contact with the ground. So your force comes from the balls. In cycling it is similar, the force comes from the balls. If your balls are in front off or behind the axle your foot will tend to want to rotate around the pedal axle in the direction your balls are offset from centre. Toes wise if your foot rotates so that your toes want to dip down they will have pressure on them and the nerves will be irritated. Also, if your feet are not facing forward but are rotating off line or rolling to the outside you will also have nerve pain. To do away with all this you need a flat, non rotating foot with balls directly over axle.
  22. For an ultimate Hubber you never put much thought into that one did you?
  23. Biggest factor to check is to check if the your fork and frame are compatible according to the manufacturers specification. If not you may end up with handling problems at high speed. Rule of thumb, your hub to hub center distance should not change.
