Sounds like you need a full indoor trainer setup on the cheap , and then an all road bike , these models bridge the gap without going full gravel. IMHO.👍🏻

I wonder what the rule book says, when you have most of the field off course and don’t get a recorded time? Yet you finished within 10 meters apart? I feel the riders who made the correct judgment should be rewarded with keeping their times. It’s so mush easier to just cancel the stage. UCI has got off to a rocky start with Pro Level racing.
