To expect a rider to be fully back to his old self is a hard ask…. These guys require proper rest, I expect them to maybe refocus season and maybe look to other races. I can’t see any of them at the TDF unfortunately. Rushing a recovery can cause small injuries like bike position alignments etc. I wish them all a good recovery not speedy! After watching several stages, I found the racing way more aggressive than previous editions! Guys were taking huge risks, everyday there was several examples of insane dodges and misses. On this decent’, the guys were hammering it! It’s a racing incident but glad to see the organisers have removed the super narrow sections of past. Pity as this event has improved both in field and route etc. I feel sorry for organisers that are been pro active and now are hit with this dilemma! As for LM winning the stage and putting his arms up in victory… In my honest opinion, is in bad taste! Could just rolled over the line as a mark of respect like the older days of racing. This new generation could learn a thing or two. Anyways it’s my two cents plus double road tax! Regarding crashes, we have one big issue come this weekend! The new extra turns will cause havoc in my opinion over one of the fastest cobble sections! I honestly thought it was an Aprils fool joke but looks like it’s for real. What a disappointment that we won’t see them at full tilt over this iconic part of the race!

Generally most plastics on the micro side have made their way into many things. The clothes you wear, with aggressive washing machines that clean your gear etc. It’s almost impossible I think to completely eliminate it from our current lifestyle. I’d be more worried about what happens to the millions of carbon fibre frames that are waiting there fate, coming to a landfill near you!

This trick has been milked beyond its shelf life.
