Thanks Shamus, as I stated he is very happy with the pedals besides this little hick up! Is it possible to get 2 sets (i.e. for 2 sets of shoes ....) of the long ones please sir?

We have always used SPD pedals and never had an issue but recently LittleBen has changed to Eggbeaters. He enjoys them and had no issues up till today (besides the training shoe issue referred to later) ..... I find that the bolts supplied with them are just to short and it is a mission to get them fitted. They just make it on his Specialized shoes and today a bolt pulled out as it did not have enough 'bite' - result is that his race was spoilt He has another pair of training shoes, can't remember the make and can't be bothered to look cause I'm not impressed, where the cleats can't even be fitted at all as the bolts don't reach! Might try some SPD bolts if they are longer some time but ja anyone else experienced this?

Must agree with you here. I have sealed quite a few non UST tyres very successfully without air leakage using either Stans or Joes! Tried once with OKO but no luck. I assume however that once it has sealed with the more runnier sealants that topping up with OKO would be fine?
