Great meeting you guys! Jeez despite the 'casual' standing around before the start and all the hipster looking guys the pace was pretty furious from the 'gun' ???? I had great fun out there but man the heat was just something else!

Been going out earlier than usual heading up the 'shop rides' for my son ... There's just something about riding from the dark through the sunrise into the daylight, yes even here on the Highveld!

I'm assuming those are the latest Android types and not the BB OS one's from years back so just another generic smartphone like the latest Nokia's ....

My second time and for sure the wind was kinder, enjoy 'racing' on my local roads. Starting an hour late irritated a bit as I'd committed to help family at lunchtime but I got over it as did they luckily [emoji41]

Put some road wheels on my steel gravel bike and went exploring to downtown Jozi ... started my working career in that building 30/12/1980, Siemens House as it was called then, 1 Biccard str, Braamfontein

Thanks for the reply David. Have done a bit of riding on them and will just keep an eye on the spokes and rims going forward. Not an every day bike luckily [emoji41]
