  1. I asked for a reliable contact, you clearly have not called 10111 yet :-) A lot of us ride Ruimte road, at the R55 robot you are a stones through away from Olievenhoutbos
  2. Yesterday while on an afternoon ride one of the commuters that I regularly pass on my rides, flagged me down to warn me not to travel to far down Ruimte. Turns out he was bike jacked at gunpoint, on his way to work this weekend. Apparently 2 guys, each with a gun, flanked him and took the bike, a cheap makro special. It happened pretty close to Olievenhoutbos. He seems to have an idea where the bike was taken, along with many other bikes, does someone have a contact within SAPS that we can trust to follow up? Pm me I am not going to put the detail up on an open forum for all to see. Then if anyone has some spare components lying around that you want to donate in building him a new bike, or if you have a complete cheapie, let me know.

  9. I used this calculator to workout seat height http://www.ebicycles.com/, then did this: Sitting on the bike, position one foot forwards so the crank is parallel to the floor at 3 o’clock. Hold a length of string with a weight on the end at the front of your knee. The string should drop down in line with the pedal axle. Adjust if necessary. That adjustment was all I needed
  10. I had something similar last week, I dropped my saddle 5mm, moved my cleats a few mm back and moved my saddle forward a few mm. I had pain on the inside of the left knee and outside of the right, only while cycling, the change to the bike setup fixed it.
