  17. Obviously you need a newer one, bikes tend to get slower by the day, with the pace technology is moving, Well that is what I have my wife believe.......... I also work from this book, helped me a lot http://www.kalahari.com/Books/The-Big-Book-of-Endurance-Training-and-Racing_p_36851510;jsessionid=41FAC2D7F68DB401C60CE3EFD5CEE67B
  18. don't forget recovery, I increased my recovery time between rides and performance increased dramatically, oh and a new bike always helps
  19. I started in august 2012 and measure my improvements over a 30km off road training route, with 300m climbing, that I do often. 30km route started with an average speed of 18km per hour, this week did it at 23.3km per hour. Then strava tracks my improvements on the climbs, while the races show me how slow I actually am. Must admit I now enjoying my riding much more than when I started, even starting to enjoy the climbs!
  20. I just got the older duel air fork, took me a few rides to find out what I liked, but i love the shock now! Small adjustments and I can set up for anything. Feels like i have my MX bike's suspension clickers on
