  1. Would like to thank the Advendurance team for a awesome series this year. It was my first Trailseeker series and I thoroughly engoyed each and every one of the race. Keeping the masses happy is quite a task and although there were complaints I think you guys hit the nail on the head on all the races. Would also like to thank all the other stakeholders like Bryton waterpoint. You guys are always friendly and helpful. Epic sports, well you guys were EPIC at each race. Always ready to offer assistance lubing the chain and throat. Pity you guys don't stock a spare set of legs, I sure needed them on Van Gaalens. USN for all the drinks supplied on the events To all the venues and landowners. Without your generosity we won't be able to enjoy the awesome trails. The rescue/medical teams: Thankfully I never needed your services but think you guys do a great job getting to those in need. And to all fellow riders that suffered with me on the ups and had a laugh on the technicals. You guys make it worth it to go ride. Also a big to all that I have not mentioned. Hope to see you all in 2014
  2. Free entry up for grabs! https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/67528-trailseeker-no-5-half-marathon-entry/
  3. Has anyone collected their numbers? Anything special in the goooooody bag? Socks, keyring, epo
  4. On my seeding email they say you can register on Sat between 5h45-9h00 But if you have not received your seeding info I would not leave it to race day to sort out.
  5. Come drive in Joburg. If I allow one car to push in front of me at the off-ramp and they do the same to a fellow road user and the trend continues then it will take me an extra 2 hours to get to work. I plan my trip and I know to get into the correct lane way before I get to the off-ramp but you unfortunately get people that cant/refuse to wait an extra 10min and demand to drive past the queue and push in front. Nope, I'm generally very considerate and tolerate a lot but some people beg to have a Hilux imprint on their car's arse. Ps. All was written tong in cheek. Trolling a bit
  6. If roadies drive to slow people complain. Now they keep up to traffic and people complain. Make up your minds ffs. As far as I remember cyclists are regarded as a vehicle on the road and now this guy embraces his right and gets shamed for it. and don't come with following distance because that's the normal following distance in Gauteng to make sure you don't allow for other cars to push in front of you. I'm gonna do this in my hub kit, want to see how many free pictures I can get of me on my bike
  7. Yes you get a T-shirt. But you have to finish all five so good luck. You can go and have a look on the Advendurance facebook page if you want to know what the shirt looks like.
  8. My seeding index is 39.27
  9. Jip also just got mine. C batch again for me in marathon.
  10. Entries are still open I think so they will have to wait for entries to close before they can seed everyone and send the mails out. Or will all the late entries start from the back , they deserve to for entering so late
  11. Think we will only receive them from tomorrow.
  12. Pleasure. Hope you get it sorted out.
  13. He has not been online for a while. Hope he has finished the 30km by now!
  14. Since you say that it happens more frequently it might also mean that your shoe is worn out and like Trek Fan said it could be that the cleat is pressing on some nerves or placing pressure on arteries and restricting blood flow.
  15. Is your shoe wide in the toe section or narrow? This can also cause your toes to cramp up.
  16. A While back I also had cramps in my toes. I found that when I'm pedalling hard I tend to curl up my toes which caused them to cramp. Maybe you're doing the same??? In my case it was just a matter of relaxing whilst cycling.
  17. D&D marathon will most probably also be between 65-70km. You should be fine, the race is flat and fast.
  18. Bunch of Wussies on here I don't owe the Sangoma money, thus I'll happily cycle in the thunder singing ACDC Thunderstruck B)
  19. I think that most users will switch it off because with the amount off cars (especially taxi's) that push in front off you it must be very frustrating to drive and it will take forever to get to work.
  20. Yes they do. You can switch it off. Sat in the car at the Cycle Fair. Very nice although I dont like the centre console. Looks to much like a Saab but the rest I like.
  21. yes Oct..............My bad
  22. If you already have a SA Seeding number board then you can use that. If you dont, then I would recommend that you buy one for R40. You will be able to use it in some other mtb events and if you have your number board all your results will be linked to that board. That will help your seeding to get better and you will be able to start with people of your ability.
  23. I see that you are in Centurion thus it will probably be the easiest for you to register at Epic Sports. They are in the Jeanlen centre. Corner of Jean and Lenchen ave Centurion.
  24. You can register at CycleLab Fourways on the 30th Oct from 10am-4pm AT Epic Sports Cycle Shop on the 31st Oct 10am-4pm or Lynwood Cyclery on the 1 Nov 10am-4pm
