  1. Looking forward to next season. I have plenty leave and the boss said I must use it so I think I might just do the MTN series next year. Base training starts tomorrow, legs are still a bit tiered after yesterday's 94.7.
  2. The MTN National series is on the Saturday and the distances are usually 70-75km (Marathon) and 110km (Ultra Marathon). The Nissan one you see is on the Sunday and is for the shorter distances like 40km (Half Marathon) 20km etc. Suppose it's just different sponsors.
  3. No result on RaceTec for me I need this result for my seeding on Argus
  4. Collected 4 bags and no safety pins either. Why are they called safety pins when they steek the k@k out of me almost every time I try and pin my number to my back
  5. But I don't have my own place yet. Will I still be a Idiot if I take her to her mom's house? If her dad sees me in my Spez shirt he will think I'm such a pro
  6. Because he lapped me TWICE on a nationals hosted at Fountains years ago.
  7. That's how I remember Fritz................Always on the back wheel.
  8. I cant see that A1 and 2 was the cause of the problem. The elite riders go through those sections with such speed that by the time the slower riders get there they are almost done with their race. They must get a decent climb in the early stages of the race that will sort out the unfit from the fit and then have a technical jeep track or something then by the end of the race the riders should be riding in groups of similar capabilities and whatever you do, DO NOT put a bridge in a race with this amount of riders.
  9. Hahahaha. You guys still going on about the bottle necks. Damm, it must have been hectic. Seems it was a lucky miss for me.
  10. Well even forks that have a lockout option does not lock out completely. They usually have about 10-20mm travel in lockout mode and according to me a fork wont bob that much on the road unless the pressure in the fork is totally wrong. I'd say no you don't need to buy a lockout fork especially for road riding but if you have the extra cash available it might be a nice option
  11. Think on the bright side. Now you don't have to feel sorry for your bike anymore and ride it like a girl because you are scared of getting a chip in your new carbon frame.
  12. EDIT: Never mind. I'm tired, overworked and grumpy this morning. Something's are better left unsaid......Soz
  13. Put some Formula R1 on that bike with reach adjust
  14. Do you stay attached to your bike when you fall of it? Also a bike can be moved out of the road but an injured person not. Why would they just pose for a photo like this? Hub publicity?
  15. Damm, that's never a pretty sight. Hope they are ok.
  16. I know he rode a Scott but cant remember if it was a Scale or Genius, and as far as I recall he did not wear a skate board helmet........Nope, definitely not a skate board helmet.
  17. Yes we were doing the marathon. He came past me round the 35km mark. I tried wheelsuck a bit but I just didn't have the legs at that stage to keep up.
  18. Who was the guy in full hub kit riding a Scott. He came flying past me. It looked like I was standing still, did not even have time (or breath) to greet him. He must have started in one of the batches after C because I did not see him in our start group.
  19. What goes up must come down
  20. Upload to Garmin Connect and select Elevation Correct and see if it makes a difference.
  21. Nice time! I'm 13min shy of sub 3h
  22. Anybody have an idea when or where we will get our Columbia shirts for finishing 5 races?
  23. I only measured 678m of climbing. You must only go up the hills once http://www.strava.com/activities/92689711
  24. Damm, I sound like a sponsored rider.
