  1. Great job! Can we expect regular bike/equipment reviews in the future? I loved the clip.
  2. Is this the bike: http://www.huffy.com/products/Product.aspx?pid=379|4|8
  3. Wise words!
  4. Seems like there may be some science to it: http://www.caymanchem.com/app/template/Article.vm/article/2157;jsessionid=EEAEFB409423347FDE326280AABDD091 if you can trust google
  5. What symptoms do you experience as a result of the low cell vitality?
  6. Well said!!!
  7. Could not agree more. Not sure what kamikaze is trying to prove with the clip? Everybody has to start somewhere. I never heard the guy claim in the clip that his bike will solve the tech /skills problem like kamikaze claims. Cycling can be enjoyed by riders of all skill levels. Joke is on the guy who took a beginner this track.
  8. Will be at the south coast in dec. looking to join a mtb group rides in 30 km radius.
  9. Please explain ?
  10. If you only take the additional resistance caused by the larger tyres, the difference will still be almost negligible or do you disagree? Point I was trying to make is that down a mine shaft, the weight of the bike is not the key variable to consider (in real life)
  11. :) I still say we call the MYTHBUSTERS
  12. Lol, "ignoring air resistance"
  13. Not sure if that is TRUE??? If I remember correctly: g = 9.81 m/s2 = 32.2 ft/s2 hence ignoring air resistance, any object, when dropped from the same height, will hit the ground at the same time. This means that the 29" and 26" inch will be eqaully fast.
  14. I was about to make the same recommendation
  15. I suggest we submit the 29 vs 26 debate to Mythbusters to get an independent view!!!
  16. I am sure if there was conclusive scientific proof available, there would not have been so many discussions on this
  17. Looks cool, will give it a try for sure
  18. HeHe - I am sure there are even newer better, less traceable stuff they being used.
  19. also check out www.luxurytime.co.za
  20. Good luck with the move!! Now I need to drive past your shop everyday on my way home. I can see how this move is going to cost me
  21. Kinda like buying a new car. We spend a lot of time in an attempt to justify these expensive toys... In the end the sums/facts will work out the way you want it to work out I ride a specialized camber 29er and loving it, but it remains a personal choice.
  22. I weigh almost the same as you. Got the full sus, very happy!
