  1. Where do i get that? ..or maybe i should just go look in the garage...dad's got everything in there...like a massive magic box actually! Not scared of scrubbing! You can find it at most auto spares places like Midas etc. Or as hagar sez, undiluted cleen green also works, but nothing strips oil n grease like prepsol. Just don't wash your frame/entire bike with it, it dulls your paintwork...
  2. Use a biodegradable degreaser like prepsol (undiluted) and get scrubbing chick... Then you don't have to worry 'bout wrecking the environment when the time comes to dispose of the parrafin...
  3. Don't worry Capri, maybe father christmas will give you a nicer bike so you can stop riding that piece of *** you have such a complex about...
  4. If you keep them in your garage, you godda watch out for parktown prawns, they like to creep in n set up camp in the toe area of shoes...
  5. This is how i feel about roadies...
  6. Hey...!!! I see your move mutha trucka, get in th Q buddy...!!! How's this oke tryna move in on our turf Hog...?!
  7. Traditionally you need to post a photo of yourself on becoming a hubber... Preferably a full length shot, and on a couch...

  10. Relax, just a bit of tongue in cheek with refrence to the exact incident you mention here. It'll be used mostly at track school and for trips to the eastern transvaal (mpumalanga if you must). Nothing will replace quality time with my Santa Cruz's...

  12. Right................. The kenda small block eights are out then! larger Nobs then? Bontrager mud X you wont be sorry Unless it ends up being dry and mud free...
  13. Small block 8's and mud will be a disaster. Try wet rocks and cornering with them too if you wanna perfect crashing your ass off.
  14. I did the pre-ride with Conti mountain kings and they were perfect. Rolled nice n fast and gave perfect grip on climbing and descending in the dry and the wet conditions...
  15. MTBaaisikilist is all in...
  16. Hell i think i'm rather gonna keep the money i was gonna spend on a trip to whistler next year n rather go to northern farm for a week. ooh, or maybe even treat myself to mecca of mountain biking we all know as the spruit... That's free, well except when you're relieved of your bike, wallet, camelbak and riding kit and left flagging down cars for a ride home with your tool in your hand...
  17. Mmm, and the single track, technical sections BMX track and pump tracks at northern boring farms are far superior too i suppose. I for one will be 1st in line for an annual membership to the new park and will be quite happy for the trails to be less cluttered with technically impaired MTBaaikers bitching about paying for a quality, secure, purpose built place to hone their skills and provide gauteng with the variety our sport desperately needs...
  18. You're right, i'm boycotting them, toyota mtn cycle park will not see me at that price, that'll teach them... I'm gonna spend my hard earned 50 bux on milk and bread rather...
  19. It's my 1st 94.7 (and road race for that matter), I'm on a MTB (the same one i'll be racing the 40km MTB event on the sat with), in baggies, starting in group OB and am devilishly handsome. What sorda time would be good...? I'm hoping for a 3:30... That realistic...?
  20. Good call Hog...
  21. I think Holy might have swallowed some of that water. Could've sworn i heard him singing country n western music shortly after we crossed blood river...
  22. Northshore type skinny bridge i think...
