  6. Sorry beetchas LOL LOL LOL
  7. Also no need to be condescending. If you want to organize a race on one of the most notorious roads in South Africa, be my guest, but don't go calling it safe. And don't be a little bitch when someone warns other people about the dangers of your folly.
  8. 'Tsek! Skoert, tsamaya! Hamba lapa side jou sleg! Spoel uit jou mond jy praat k....!
  9. Sorry Dave, I used that road for a long time as I built a off-road track some 30km's out on it - if you think that 'chains' of 10 putco busses at a time doing 120 km/h on a Saturday morning is safe, be my guest. I have seen more accidents on that road than I care to remember, all of them over weekends (as I never drove/rode it in the week)
  10. Under what rock do you live? The Molotto road has never been and will never be a 'Safe route' for anyone, never mind cyclists! A search for Moloto Road returns images of several crashes. And Championchip? Are you serious? R160 for the race PLUS R120 for a timing chip? Never.
  11. Yes, they did
  12. Spotted you in the D batch, waved from the front but you were chatting up the guys next to you Big ups for finishing the race, it was a proper tough one.
  13. RASA
  14. I don't agree Clinton - it's people going beyond their limits that causes them to crash (or swerving for other people) - in my eye the route was good. Yes, some technical places, but you could walk ALL of them and had PLENTY warning to get off beforehand. MTBers should HTFU
  15. Jah, and running. What the hell man. I'm sure you've got a ton of cycling things you can say, you've been MC'ing cycling events since Methuselah retired. I missed Max Cluer, he's always good on the mike (and knows at least 63.25% of cyclists on the start line)

  17. I've promised Gerhard that I'll ride as a cow next year, but I'm going to add the condition that it won't be in a suit - that'll kill me
  18. How in the sweet name of all that is holy do you guys survive in those suits? I loved the D batch, did as well as I hoped, was a hard day out. I walked the first part of the concrete strip, then got back on and pedaleed the last stretch. Pity no-one in front of me noticed so I couldn't get past (even though I asked) but hey, at least I went past when they stopped to mount up again. Didn't see them again after that
  19. You're gonna have to speak up, I caren't like to hear what you're saying? But I agree
  20. serra de leba pass. I've often wondered how cool it would be to bike up and down there. It climbs around 1450m in 10km, has 12 hairpins ... I smell a roadtrip.
  21. Sjoe glad you're ok. Send me a bank account number and I'll pop in R100 towards helping to get you back on the road. Add another R50 if you klapped him proper!
