  2. Fkn MTN and DSTV arses. 30sec and put an ad on.
  3. George I'm not interested. Went for a hard ride this am. 3.5hrs, in our mountains, with lots of steep climbs, on my hard tail, with 1x10 32 and 36 rear. I pushed hard (av HR about 80%), and found that my energy levels stayed constant. I took the emergency goo, but didn't even think of using it. One of the best rides on LC so far. How hard do you think you could push it.

  7. And that's all you need edit, I had the same problem when I lived in the WC platteland- Riviersonderend, even the English ooms spoke english with an afrikaans accent
  8. Not in this platteland hey, even the afrikaners have to speak english, I think it's one of the few areas where the english farmers far outnumber the afrikaans.
  9. They tried that at 2Oceans years ago, with boards down the street with projected finishing times, it seemed to work well then, but now people have just become too selfish, or maybe people have just lost their intellect I'd love to do a few more races but the crowds get to me, and the bottle-necks at even mildly tech sections. and yes it's easy to say train harder, then you'll not be held up, but that's not the point, the point is decency. If some one is faster than you uphill, make an effort to move over for them, I do, and the same on downhills. And Sheriff, I'm no technical genius, but I'm sure better than the run of the mill rider nowadays.
  10. Looks like he took the Whittlesea road by mistake, good that he corrected that, otherwise he'd have had to go via Adelaide.
  11. I don't know, I thought you had organized accom, Sorry if I'm wrong
  12. Can't you phone the accom in uMthata, to find out if he made it back.
  13. I noticed, nothing from last night. Hope there's no problem.
  14. Cool, Big Bike for the Twizza then
  15. Does the route still go down the steep game path off the hill. I love that bit. I'll do the 40 just for that section.
  16. Interesting take on the debate http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/01/16/in-defense-of-the-paleo-diet.html?utm_content=buffercda7d&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
  17. I use it in bullet proof coffee, but in my coffee before riding I prefer the taste and texture(?) of flaxseed oil
  18. Dunno Dave, tweeted Tim. Waiting for a reply.
  19. All around Kei Mouth and Morgans Bay, and Double Mouth, but I took no pics. Rode along the edge of the kranzes, and saw a group of Gannets diving with some action in the water too. Probably tuna, or Bonnies, after the first sardines of the season. Oh and I found this family, which have been eaten
  20. What's the story with flaxseed oil. I see that the real meal revolution says to never eat it. I love it in my coffee.
  21. Lekker slow ride up the Wild Coast
