I explore lots, have been exploring these mountains on my MTB for close on 20 years, and the Transkei coast. New areas always excite me, hence the baviaans I think most of the maps and narratives are on the Freedom trail website.

Thanks Ryan and Steve, I'll maybe do the R2R and trip some of the Stormberg/ Baviaans areas, but I want to do the race in 4/5 years time.

Well done Ryan and Percy, what an adventure. What is the old Freedom Challenge participants opinion on doing the RASA first time sight unseen. Is it possible, or should one trip the difficult navigation sections beforehand. And what are the difficult sections where people get lost.

Had a good ride through the Quacu Forest reserve, lots of gravel roads, and a lokshin or two. The Xologha mountains with Dohne peak, Mount Thomas, Mount Ailsa, Hogsback and Gaika's Kop.

I'm as strong as a horse, even with the rest of the family being sick. I haven't had a cold for about 2 years though, and have only been lchf for 6 months. Enjoy Dusi2C

Use salted butter, I don't know where that comes from, but preferably butter from pastured cows. Why is unsalted butter the thing, on the LCHF diet you need to up your intake of salt. I add salt to my coffee, even though my butter is also salted, particuarily if I've a headache, or if I'm feeling unwell.
