  16. How far is the Sun ride
  17. I explore lots, have been exploring these mountains on my MTB for close on 20 years, and the Transkei coast. New areas always excite me, hence the baviaans I think most of the maps and narratives are on the Freedom trail website.
  18. Thanks Ryan and Steve, I'll maybe do the R2R and trip some of the Stormberg/ Baviaans areas, but I want to do the race in 4/5 years time.
  19. Well done Ryan and Percy, what an adventure. What is the old Freedom Challenge participants opinion on doing the RASA first time sight unseen. Is it possible, or should one trip the difficult navigation sections beforehand. And what are the difficult sections where people get lost.
  20. Had a good ride through the Quacu Forest reserve, lots of gravel roads, and a lokshin or two. The Xologha mountains with Dohne peak, Mount Thomas, Mount Ailsa, Hogsback and Gaika's Kop.

  24. Willie is playing a blinder, made both of Habanna's tries.
