  1. If you looking for a good all round tire then go for the bontrager jones XR and mud tires are only good for a few days in the year here so invest in a good one if you do about lightest and cheapest they dont go well in the same sentence at all rather go for a set of reliable mountain kings or jones XR's and you wont have issues other than with the price if you want to save weight look at your wheels before looking at your tires seeing as your tires are what keep you riding are they not!!!!!!
  2. Swift i like it a lot what is the weight of it with full dura ace and the comparison of it with Campy record
  3. forks pressures generally run according to your weight and how you feel comfortable as well so how much do you weigh and if i may ask what are your riding capabilities (weekend warrior or top 30 in drifter events)
  4. thanks for clearing that up attie and token freak is definitely a trustworthy hubber that is reliable
  5. Guys savour this moment the sight that we see with the moon only happens once every three hundred years P.S. awesome sunset!!!!

  9. yea she really has a heart of gold and true grit and determination and most definitely would have finished paris breast paris she is that hardcore
  10. when i first rode with her, she was a bit scared of the bigger drops, but now she just goes for them! nice lady! yea she got a few good races behind her i have tons of respect for her
  11. on carbon they do airbrushing and alu they do vinyl decals if i am not mistaken BTW this is a pink bike i wouldn't mind riding it looks hot!!!turtlek2008-11-23 15:05:58
  12. eclipse i reckon there will be a way of doing a tubeless conversion but there will be a much bigger risk of having to do it much more carefully because the error margin must be minimal to prevent stuff ups and tire failure i really hope that there will be a conversion kit that works because as much as i like the idea i cant afford swifts corima's or shimano's dura ace wheels
  13. i am keen to try it but i am a bit worried about the effects of high pressure related blow outs but other than that would love to give it a good go
  14. if you go bontrager 29er tires look at the revolt super x and then the jones XR tires if you want more grip the dry x are only good for road riding in my opinion the super x is a much better tire at the same or similar price!!! and maxxis have got 29er tires just not too sure about availability
  15. There will be NO difference in the longevity of either of these shocks. The only difference is that the pro-pedal is adjustable on the RP23. Many people will be just fine with the stock settings of the RP2 (me being one of them). As a result of missing the extra adjustment dial' date=' the RP2 is also a few grams lighter.Note that the RP2 is only available as OEM, ie you can't go out and buy one as an aftermarket part somewhere.[/quote'] so the rep from omnico was talking K@K when he said that to me???? oh well thanks for making sure i dont use that line again Reps love to talk ***. Part of the job description thats why i want a job like thiers sit in bike shops talking k@k all day long and get a half decent salary from it!!!
  16. was interested in one of his safari's and thanks for the nice word will definitely check it out now

  18. all depends on your riding and how active you would like your suspension in other words do you want a fully adjustable shock (rp32) or do you want a shock with the necessities (being the Rp2) both shocks are very user friendly and require little maintenance but if you want the one that will last longer just due to better homework being done then look at the rp32 not too sure about prices though
  19. polish just makes the bike look pretty in my opinion and i am very anal about bike maintenance and bikes having to be cleaned so i put the same amount of effort into cleaning my bike as i do when i am on the bike
  20. once a month i do the works in other words stripping the whole bike but other than that i use sunlight liquid on the oily bits and the foam on the frame after a nice spray down with the hosepipe and then i wipe all the water off and then polish it
  21. guys if you want to ride mountain bikes do it properly or if you want to go for cooking lessons i can give you the number for the swiss hotel school there are just some things that you dont mix especially spray and cook with mountain biking you wasting your time with it anyways it just makes mud into grinding paste on any moving parts!!!!
