whats the deal with the bike wash facility? is this included in the event or do you need to bring your own bike wash etc and do it yourself?

I was hoping that there would be another registration before the race. Have to drive to lourensford on the thurs eve for the registration and back out the next morning for the start.

nope but vital if staying in the tent. I took a "space saver" pillow on my last stage race and cost me hours of sleep.

We spotted a Caracal on Tuesday night below the blockhouse as it got dark. Always nice to see some wildlife in our back garden.

With the Epic kit sponsor having changed to Assos, Craft had most likely manufactured enough kit for the next year and needed to recoup costs hence selling off ex stock. If this process of Sponsor change had been better managed craft may have not been in this position and the EPIC brand could have saved some face. this is just a theory....

Good race, was a great way to end off the Dr Evil! Would highly recommend combining the two! One is small and personal and the other, well crowded and crazy!

very swak dude! i would lay off the running for now as this seems to be the trigger! will mail you some strengthening exercises that will help but not put pressure on it. But R.I.C.E is always good.

I'm in! looking forward to it! although the training has been slow leading up to now.
