  1. Hey folks. I did a short 12km ride on the weekend, and afterwards I was left with a headache that heaps (and I mean heaps) of meds just couldnt ease at all. Does anybody know of a specialist that they feel may be able to help me with this? I am at the point where I need to get it sorted or quit cycling, as the pain is just not worth it. So far I have seen a chiropractor, a neuro, a physio and headache experts at the headache clinic.
  2. It says the folder is empty. Anyways, heres something I did with the small low res pic. Im not good at landscape, but it might give you some ideas.
  3. I think it's natural, but you never know when a little fill is being used. It's a great shot.
  4. Spot on, but nobody has found the cause yet.
  5. Did you use speedlights for this one, or just available light?
  6. Gosh, how moody is this!? Nice one.
  7. Thanks, I was seeing a guy here which helped, but I had to keep going back and when I stopped the issues worsened. The problem is I dont have R1500 a month or whatever it is to keep going back indefinitely
  8. Sounds like you have an idea already. Shoot with a large depth of field and shoot down a row of houses or the street. Maybe do it in low light and turn on house, garden or street lights to attract the eye instead of a house doing that.
  9. I love landscape photographs, but I am sooooo cr@p at taking them. I guess we all have our strengths and weaknesses.
  10. Thanks guys. Grumps, I know it's all kinda related to injuries going back to childhood and beyond, and it flares up with bad posture, be it too long at a desk, on a couch, or even riding. It's taken many years and visits to experts to find the problem, but we have no solution other than muscle relaxing drugs which I now take all too often just to get by. I'd love a proper long term solution, but at the moment the time and costs already incurred have been substantial and while I won't give up on finding such, I would be very happy with a work around for now.
  11. Thanks. Do you know why lowering them would have helped?
  12. I've been off the bike for a few months, but before that I was riding regularly and getting some good TITS and distance. The problem is that after every ride I would suffer from hectic headaches that would have me man down for the rest of the day. I know that its coming from my neck as I get them once a week or so even when I dont ride, and have seen many different types of doctors and specialists. Today I got back on the bike, and I could feel that I was getting tight in the neck and shoulders, and a headache was developing. I also have issues with my lumbar spine area, and I was having pain there as well, which I wasnt getting in the past. Im really keen to start doing more TITS again, but I really want to avoid these headache issues. Can you have any *useful* advice on this? I did have a BGFit done, more spacers added below my stem, and a shorter stem added; My issues seem to go beyond the theory of BGFit. Im wondering if I go for a more upright stem, perhaps I will be more upright and it might alleviate the problem, but I am not sure. A concern I have with that is that I might not get enough weight forward on steep inclines as I already have that problem from time to time. Any help?
  13. Honestly, if you Hubbers that just find threads to argue on every friggin day just gave an hour of that time to helping people that would be far more noble. Maybe start by helping with this crime. There's a lady, a registration and a vehicle... Get cracking why don't you? It's always the same people ranting and arguing, but I never see them being helpful, not even with a sensible post.
  14. So what are considered suitably cool baggies for MTB these days? Must be available locally.
  15. Can I come and work for you?
  16. What level are you at now? Distance and time?
  17. Thats what I hear, but would still be nice to know Im wealthy enough to buy one; like a Santa Cruz MTB. Just dreams. And with Nikon making the D800 at 36MP that closed the gap a little bit too.
  18. Ah, I see.
  19. Seems this thread was summed up on the second post.
  20. Wow. Too many unpleasant people and too much politics. What's with all the hostility?
  21. It must be *** worrying about what is and isn't cool to wear etc all the time, not to mention exhausting and time consuming.
  22. I'd like to get myself a phase one or Hasselblad one day, but we will see. Right now they are priced just a little out of my budget.
  23. Some medium format action for you then hey.
  24. Bwaaaa ha ha ha ha. I suppose it helps to be overly opinionated as well.
