Nice. I also restored a floor pump a few years back (still going strong) with a Ryder head and hose replacement. Crown cycles did it for about the same price.

Crown cycles has donation box too. Not sure if it is PPA drop off/pick up or where exactly it goes.

A few wkends ago, on my way down OKW on spaansemaaaa just before the prison, I caught the attention a few younsters up to no good. They quickly made their way towards the road in my direction. I saw them early and managed to turn around. I stopped law enforcement further up the road (going over the m3 towards main road), they went to check them out. That stretch is def a zone you need to be wakker for the bike jacking taxis and pedestrians.

I read he is just trying to win a GT again 😝

I did Paarl tour last year and found out about it a week before the event via a mate. I did entry the day before at registration. Attendance was poor. Even after the race, some mates never even heard about the race. Winelands a month later which was marketed much better (via social media platforms) had double the number of riders.

My next is also my Ratel. Probably not 2024 🙃 I get a headache the minute I try think about atta logistics on my own. Def need to get a mate or 2 together to make it much easier. Still think the timing of the event is as good as it gets. November and December (longer warmer days) to get your sh*t in order.
