Anyone collected race packs/numbers today or yesterday.Reason for asking is that I am not sure how ASG does their timing, but I thought there would be some kind of transponder chip or tape stuck to back of raceboard. I have nothing taped to mine, so suppose no timing for me.

The 29 alc is the older Momsen 29er alloy frames with different geometry and different alloy type construction. New, I doubt if any is available, as they stem from 2010/2011 before the previous popular AL129/529/and 729 frames. I was lucky enough to spot one on the hub a few months ago, and bought the frame immediately. They are such sweet riding framesets, but missed out on tapered headtubes and other " modcons". Good luck on finding one, you might not be the only one looking......

Stem saam met Jaco-fiets. Awesome klomp mense en roete was goed uitgele.En ons het gewonder waar hulle 1500m se klim kry.Afgetjop op daai monster klim met my nuwe 1x10 setup, maar ten minste 'n goeie les gehad in HTFU. Die watertafels was awesome.Die klomp kinders van die laerskool se cheerleading en aanmoediging het mens gou laat vergeet van al die swaarkry.Roete was ook goed gemerk.Het een afdraai gemis, maar vinnig genoeg my fout agtergekom. By die einde was daar ook oorgenoeg om van te kies om te eet en drink. Die oggend was net vrek koud.Het letterlik gebibber van die koue in wegspringblok. Maar die cherrie on top was die oulike handgemaakte "Hou bene, hou"kaartjie wat die skoolkinders gemaak het, en wat ons gekry het by registrasie.Baie nice touch! Wel gedaan Van Loveren en PPA!

Heard from the medics this afternoon, that they were attending to a badly broken arm incident on route somewhere in the mountain,when another rider came crashing into them, while on scene.Not to sure where incident occurred,but here's hoping to a speedy recovery to all.

Was in two minds on Saturday morning.Should I do the shorter route, or do the 60km as I already pre entered the long route.Decided I am going to give the 60km a go, and what a nice ride, with some good hard climbing, it turned out to be.Naas V, you did good! Some teething problems regarding parking at start, and the delay of actual start time, but will be back next year. Any idea of when and where some results will be posted?
