  2. joh. That's a MAJOR stuffup. BUT. In their defence - Customs should have looked at the invoice numbers and shipping manifest as well as the parcel count on the invoice.
  3. Correct. But to challenge it would mean sending it back to customs to get the correct tariff applied. Which means more waiting. Ping Lexx. Maybe he can help a bit.
  4. +2. Very good movie. IMO the best of the bunch to date.
  5. same road as you're in atm? If so - it's changed a fair bit on the RHS...
  6. from an emotional perspective, yes. But screw bottles apparently offer a higher potential quality control to them. Corks are not always the most reliable.
  7. Nope. Not in the slightest. Wait - with the standard high volume can (deboner) and if you're a big fellow, then yeah. You needed to run stupid high pressure to run the right amount of sag. The difference going to the standard air can was night and day. But it's super stable, not at all wallowy and loves the air. I, however, need to learn to love the air.... It was mostly a combination of the stock monarch tune and debonair air can. If you're not heavy, it was fine. It was pretty well documented on the giant reign owners thread... Kinda like how it performed "better" when in trail mode on the shock, cos it needed more mid stroke support due to the bigger air can.
  8. yeah... was a bit meh at that. Outgoing advanced 0 had carbon hoops as well. Vs DT alu jobs.
  9. Okay, so longer by 15mm per size, slightly shorter seat tube, different leverage ratio, and I'd now be perfectly happy on a medium. Which has almost exactly the same measurements as my current large, but a shorter seat tube (5cm) which means possibly longer dropper. IF the revised linkage position means I can drop it more into the frame than mine will currently go. Would go for the SX of all the options.
  10. Looks like Kenda are staging a comeback. Tracey Hannah using them.
  11. no, the enduro. The convertible full face / half shell.
  12. yeah, I'd love to be able to afford that sort of artistry. I HATE HATE HATE chipboard, and MDF comes a very, very close 2nd.
  13. Is it just me, or does anyone else feel as if they lost interest in the interior dash and the bin styling? It's all a bit... meh.
  14. to eliminate pedal kickback. If it wasn't routed like that, there'd be one helluva lot of it.
  15. Commencal says that they have been working on this one for well over a year, and it's hard to believe that photos aren't plastered on the interweb, considering that the prototype, with its HPP high-pivot swingarm and anti-chain-growth roller guide has been on the trails since the Meta AM V4.2 and Supreme DH V4.2 were released. Commencal's HPP rear suspension has already proven itself on the World Cup DH circuit, and now, the bomb-hole eating high-pivot configuration has been adapted to create a 180-millimeter-travel chassis that is much more gravity capable than the Andorran brand's Meta V4 range. Commencal posts the $3,699 USD Supreme SX as an enduro machine in their "official" white paper, but then goes on a rant about how it was actually made to go as big as possible at the bike park, or sail down your local zone's most extreme lines. Oh, and apparently, it's a decent climber too. Check out the official press release below. – RC In a world where performance and competition often take over, at Commencal we still believe in fun! We love climbing on our bikes but what we really want is to send it big on the way down. We’re not talking about race lines here, we’re talking about big lines, the ones that require "balls" as we like to say! For those who want to ride harder and also for those who think that having fun is more important than a fast time, the Supreme SX is for you, it is for us."—Yoann Barelli
  16. BUT! But! BUT!!!! COIL!!!! Derp. LOL. Nah, I'm done with upgrades to the bike, unless it's essential (like replacing spokes) Busy upgrading myself at the moment. Only thing I want to buy in the foreseeable future is the Leatt Enduro helmet. When it EVENTUALLY gets through the SABS / clearance process... Still - doesn't mean that I can't drool over all the things I can't afford.
  17. Yep. 450BHP (probably under-quoted, as they always are) and that 4wd system... YES PLEASE!
  18. Sadly, it mostly depends on the client's budget. Good mate of mine is a cabinet maker, and he HATES chip & MDF but has to use it for most of his builds as it is what the client can afford. Concentrates mostly on kitchens. For his proper projects, though... Joh.
  19. That's just..... gorgeous. Far, far, FAR better than the 993 it's based/built on http://files3.porsche.com/filestore/image/multimedia/none/rd-2014-porscheclassic-models-993-911carrera4-mo-teaser/preview/6eecb920-7c75-11e4-bbba-001a64c55f5c;s3/porsche-preview.jpg
