So he bought a smaller lighter Bosch pro unit, and asked me if I wanted the Mak. Brought it back home in my carry-on luggage.

yeah, the CODEs should take the XT's, rip them off the bike, stomp them, eat them then crap them out in the woods somewhere in a pre-dug hole 6 feet deep... The Guides do that to XT's already. The CODEs are a level above...

Ups aren't timed. Downs are. Individual starts 30s to 1 min apart. Ride against yourself and those others behind and in front of you. If someone catches you pull over as soon as you can to let them past as theyre clearly MUCH faster than you. Multiple stages across technical terrain incl DH trails. Drink beer after. Talk ***. Enjoy.
