  1. also great for funny-shaped guys who are between sizes on the Nomad.
  2. depends which side you're looking at it from, but gradient <10% and 10%> gradient are the same. Gradient less than 10%
  3. Yeah, it's CAD, and it's with the top spec alles. That XX1 Eagle by itself is a fair old chunk of that. Maybe better to look at the base model, which is $ 4,399 US or so?
  4. Started American Gods. Liking it more than the tv series.
  5. there's a special gatjie / dent in the TT for this purpose.
  6. Yeah Much DROOOOOOOOOL!!!! https://nsmb.com/articles/new-santa-cruz-nomad/
  7. No. If the compound were the same, yeah maybe. But the suppleness of the casing may also lead to having to run higher pressures due to less sidewall support.
  8. do yourself a favour and go for the Flows. That extra width makes all the difference.
  9. WHY 3C speed?! It's a front tyre. You don't want the harder compound for the front...
  10. you don't bulk up unless you eat at an excess. So if you purely want to get stronger, you'll get stronger. You may not pick up weight at all, your body composition will just change (go from skinny fat to athletic) Again - muscles come from working out AND eating loads. You can't get yuuuuge without eating yuuuuge And ALL strength gains are good.
  11. bro I was trying VERY hard to stop a chubby from progressing when watching the South Pacific regionals! Those women are hot. And Camille le Blanc-Bezinet. Swoon....
  12. Definition of sport an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment.
  13. Yeah, cos 3rd place and 6pts behind 2nd is "out of the championship" Or did you forget to employ ye olde comic sans? Vinales is on SUPER form, though. That lead is pretty darn impressive for so early in the championship.
  14. You're probably cornering faster than you used to... Seriously, though. The GC has oodles more grip than the crossfart.
  15. I saw 40 knots there.... in normal speak, that's 72KPH!!!!
  16. It does. It's also got a vertical shock so it's /s/ like, the best in the world, ever, maaaaaan!! /s/
  17. Thanks dude. Lately amongst my riding mates I've been dubbed "Moogle". Dunno whether to be flattered or terrified. ????
  18. I'd go for the spark over the spark RC unless you're racing for position on the podium. The cannondale is one of those XC bikes that has the capacity to be a lightweight trail bike as well. But. Unless you're racing for position, I'd always suggest something with a bit more travel and a bit slacker head angle. Bikes like: Spark (not the RC) Cannondale Habit Spaz Camber New Anthem Silverback Synergy / Sprada YT Jeffsy Spaz Stumpy Transition Smuggler Banshee Spitfire (my personal favourite - WHAT A BIKE!!!!!) Banshee Prime And so on. 120-140mm travel and 67-68 deg head angle is he sweet spot for Joe average. The slacker head angle inspires confidence in the rough stuff and the extra travel gives a safety net for when things go wrong. They're also VERY good pedalers and climbers. The limitation will be YOU, not the bike. And when you point them down..... Oooooooh boy. Mega fun. Lastly - go for something that doesn't have proprietary parts. The spaz is the one exception to this as the only proprietary thing on there is the shock (rear suspension) mounting point and there are loads of shock options for it. The KTM is cheap because they're trying to get rid of it. There are no spares for it locally. And it's not like Spaz / Giant / Transition "clearance sales" as theyre just clearing current year stock for next year's models. In short. What do you ride (terrain / race / event) and do you do it for enjoyment or position. If position (and this means top 10 in your division) - then Scott RC or cannondale scalpel SI will be perfect. If for enjoyment of the trails - one of the others suggested above and pretty much ANY current year bike in the 120-140mm bracket will be bloody awesome for you.
