  1. Awesome, until the fakery at the front rears its head...
  2. Why not.... If damaged in a crash / fall / motoring incident it's a valid claim. Especially if there's a low excess
  3. Rebooting Helix now. For some reason I lost track after ep2 last time I started.
  4. hahahahahahaha! Erm, no. The dedication comes from within. Not without.
  5. Not yet, eh. Not enough time with each of them I think. But she's cool.
  6. Nah, I still have my Mary. But why would you put the softer compound on the back, when the front is where you want the grippiness and the rear teh harder compound? Or are you saying the TRS+ instead of the TRSr due to longevity? FWIW I don't really care about rolling resistance on the front... I just want it to grip. EDIT: I think I'm being daft. You're not saying put the TRSr at the back. You're saying the TRS+ is a good front tyre in its own right.
  7. Eh? The TRSr (triple compound) is a front tyre, unless you want to use it for race runs.... Moarrrr grips at front, please. Rolling resistance limitation is for the rear. TRS+ is the one for the rear.
  8. Current crop of Masterchef Australia contestants is bloody amazing...
  9. Okay, that's it... End thread. Just needs a surfboard and it'll be perfect. Destination: DILLIGAF.
  10. The Guardians was Russia's (?) take on "the Avengers" Promised to be a hit. Was apparently a flop.
  11. I know Coenie does. But he's not on here much anymore
  12. Why aren't you doing this already? Also - what I used to do in London and again here when I have the chance to commute during the week is take a stockpile of shirts and socks in on monday, and hang them in the communal change-rooms (london) or fold them properly and put them in a drawer (here) and just ride in every day in between. Put the dirties in a gym bag, take that home in the car on Friday. Essentially the only thing I end up taking home is the laptop, if anything.
  13. We had an interview with the principal at Wynberg Boys Junior on Wednesday. Lightie goes to Grade R next year, and he saw where we lived. After saying that he wasn't going to sell the school to us, because he couldn't say no to us (we're in the area) he said "well, Michael can ride to school"... Winning. And he was right. It's only ± 900m he'd need to ride, but it's a very decent ride with relatively little traffic. I'd ride with him for the first few months while he gets used to riding on a road with traffic, but I reckon once he hits 7yo he'll be riding to school with mommy running next to him (I'm not a runner at all) And yeah - I used to do it all the time. Ride to school, that is.
  14. I find that the best crackling is achieved if you take it off the belly first, and place it on a roasting rack above atray... perfect every time. But. For on the belly, seal it off in a pan first (skin side down) for about 10 minutes. Then put in the oven as per normal, and for the last 30 min whack the temp up to max. Obvs not coated in foil. Oh. Lots of salt on the skin.
