  1. LOL. And here I am, thinking that's normal. I suppose it comes down to how we're raised. We were raised with a heavy element of "If you want it, do it yourself" and cleaning all the time. Also a REALLY big reason I recommend to most people I meet to travel for a couple years or go it alone asap, if they have the opportunity to do so.
  2. Should just build him one with a dropper. Easy peasy, winning the UCI weight game.
  3. Cost of living in RSA is relatively cheap in relative terms when compared to NZ, Aus, Europe and other developed regions, until you factor in luxury goods.
  4. Nope. There's nowhere for the disturbed air to go but back up. Heavy amounts of wash, which is in effect just turbulence. As a result, there's far less lift generated for a given rotor pitch / speed. Less air being able to be drawn from above the heli cos there's resistance from the air being pushed back up.
  5. one word - tent. Blow up mattresses, proper facilities and so on. No need for a caravan that only gets used once a year. Chalet / hut or tent. The only options you need
  6. Agreed. For CT, Max is the way forwards. More capable and forgiving for us mortal folk.
  7. DOOOO EEEEEET!!!! And get the daughter a consolation gift of sorts. You have to, man. Like a new tablet / build a jungle gym in the back yard / puppy etc.
  8. SELL!!! Really, mate, do you NEED any bigger clues? She's giving you the green light. DO IT! Caravans are over-rated anyway. You just need a well sorted tent!
  9. Yep. You need to do that now to stay in the top. Remember Greg's saying at teh end of 2013 I think - less bar bills, more bar bells
  10. It's a shartload better looking than their current XC weapon..
  11. expect sharper steering and more overall control. Was blown away when I moved from 50 to 35.
  12. Rather get the 6d or 5dmk3 unless you're doing studio photography.
  13. Technically still a niner as the circumference of the tyres at inflation s the same as a niner.
